Young people in 45 states will see their health insurance premiums increase under Obamacare because the law relies on the money they pay into the system to offset the cost of caring for older enrollees, according to a new study.
Virginia leads the pack, as individuals aged 27 and under will see their health insurance premiums jump by 252.5 percent -- $416.55 -- according to the Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis.
Virginians under the age of 50 will see their premiums jump by an even greater percentage, rising from $228 to $991.03.
Such increases are not a surprise to the law's architects. “I have always said when looking at this bill, that if I were a young person, I can see elements of this bill that I wouldn't like in the short run,” Henry Aaron, vice chairman of the D.C. health exchange, told the Washington Examiner last November.
Heritage expects monthly premiums for young people to drop in Colorado, Ohio, New York, Rhode Island, and New Jersey, "because those states had already over-regulated insurance markets that led to sharply higher premiums through adverse selection," according to study author Drew Gonshorowski....

My 22 year old daughter was paying $114 a month with a $2800 deductible. Meds were at no cost.
She just learned that by keeping her payment the same she will have a $4000 deductible and meds are not covered.
She is pretty pissed.

Obama Care will have most Americans deciding between buying health-care and food.

My 52 year old single daughter was notified last week by her insurance agency that her medical insurance premium will increase by $100 per month in December. That's on top of the $50 increase that she was hit with a couple of months ago, but I haven't found any information on the web as to whether or not that $50 increase was due to Obamacare.
And to make the Obamacare disaster even worse, I fully expect many more increases as Obamacare goes into full swing. I also expect that medical insurance will become more expensive every following year until Obamacare crashes and burns as planned. Then it will be replaced by all-out socialized medicine, and I believe that's the ultimate outcome that Obama's gang of radical leftists planned for all along. After that happens I wonder where wealthy Canadians and Europeans will go for their serious medical procedures, Saudi Arabia? Israel? Dubai perhaps? One thing I'm pretty sure of, they won't come here because our fully socialized health care system will be even more overloaded and understaffed than theirs.

The states that have the lowest increases are liberal cesspits whose insurance rates had already been pushed up by government at the stste level. They were pre-screwed so Obamacare increases are just more of the same.
The Republicans' inability to formulate a simple message is breathtaking. This is a slam-dunk, using a 10 ft. ladder.
And guess what? The entire state of Nevada, Gollum's state, is EXEMPT.
