In case you were still in any doubt about Hatch.
Quite the contrast to the giant that is Mike Lee. Hatch was once reasonably reliable. Now he's more RINO than Mike Enzi of Wyoming. He's thrown his lot with the establishment. Not only did he give anti-free speech protections for homosexuals his stamp of approval, he also is an amnesty advocate. Oh, and in case you were wondering where Hatch was during the Obamacare shutdown... he abstained like a coward, probably playing connect four with Jeff Flake.
It's unfortunate for us that this loser is retiring before 2018, just after he's really screwed us over no doubt. Good riddance to Boring Hatch.

Sarah saved Orville in the last go-around.
Why?

So did Mark Levin, who said he deeply regretted it later. Hatch played a clever game, making people think he was Utah’s Jim Inhofe. Total joke.

Heritage didn’t leave Conservatism...RINO’s like Hatch, McShame, 2BDam$McConnell, Linda, Cornpone, etc left Conservatism.

Also good to remember Hatch funded Dick Lugar and Bob Corker. The Cork! He actually funded that SOB.
To: Jane Long
I don’t think McShame was ever a conservative, so he never left anything. He’s just been the same buffoonish clown since day 1.

They just play Conservative in campaign season.
Corny's doing that now, in Texas...running ads about how dang Conservative he is....NOT.

Wasn’t Hatch’s opponent a big Romney-ite? At the time, I thought it seemed an open question as to how much better he’d be than Hatch. Usually better to ditch the incumbant in these scenarios, but you never really know for sure. The new guy could have been another worthless Jeff Flake RINO.

Apparently, the majority of people in Utah are morons because they continue to send this RINO POS to represent their moron selves to the US Senate.

But it's Orville. He's a known quantity. Always was. He changed for fifteen minutes, and they bought it.

Hatch is not disagreeing in this article with Heritage's policies, just their increased politicization.
If Heritage believes that things are so bad that they can no longer afford to stay on the sidelines issuing policy statements, but must instead support specific candidates, then things are truly going downhill fast.
Is AEI endorsing specific candidates?
