President Barack Obama isn’t an overtly religious man. He and his family rarely attend church. He almost never elaborates in public about his own relationship to his Christian faith.
But away from the public eye, his advisers say the president has nurtured a spirituality that’s served to help ground him during turbulent times.
Every year on Aug. 4, the president’s birthday, Obama convenes a group of pastors by phone to receive their prayers for him for the year to come. During the most challenging of times, prayer circles are organized with prominent religious figures such as megachurch pastor Joel Hunter, Bishop Vashti McKenzie of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Rev. Joseph Lowery, a civil rights activist.
Each morning for the past five years, before most of his aides even arrive at the White House, Obama has read a devotional written for him and sent to his BlackBerry, weaving together Scripture with reflections from literary figures such as Maya Angelou and C.S. Lewis.................

If he really prayed in the direction of Mecca then
Obama would not be godless. He IS godless....and Godless.

That’s horrible of Zero to compare himself to Lincoln, I’m damn sure that unlike zero, Lincoln was not thinking about Reggie!
He has no shame and his arrogance is without any boundaries.

We know exactly how important “spirituality” is to Obama. Not only is he in favor of abortion on demand at any point including shortly after birth, but he is willing to trample the fundamental, God-given human right to freedom of religion in order to promote unlimited abortion paid for by others. No one could support that position without (1) celebrating pure evil, and (2) believing that religious beliefs have no real meaning.
Sounds like an obama-based faith initiative. Hey, everyone, pray for me! Does he ever pray openly for others?
Why does this “deeply religious” harass Christians who are trying to live their lives according to their beliefs. I guess you could say he’s not just PLAYING the devil’s advocate.
