GOP Girds Loins for Testy Obamacare Hearings

Capitol Hill Republicans are gearing up for hearings next week on the botched rollout of Obamacare — and the White House said on Saturday that about 476,000 health insurance applications have been filed through the new exchanges.

**SNIP**

The officials did not want to be cited by name and would not discuss the health insurance rollout unless they were granted anonymity, the AP reported.

Since going online on Oct. 1, the main Obamcare exchange, Healthcare.gov, has been marred by technical glitches and cost overruns — leading technology specialists to conclude that the company hired to build the site, CGI, was not qualified for the job.

On its first weekend, the website — covering 36 states that do not operate their own exchanges — was shut down for repairs.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has since, however, declared that Healthcare.gov is "simple and user-friendly, and the coverage is affordable."

Wow. No wonder the pimp doesn't want to testify.

Simple Sebelius will not testify because in the words of 3 CPO, the web debacle is beyond her capacity.

She could offer no substantive testimony.

The result will be that no one can provide any substantive information simply because no one in the top ten layers of administrative ignorati knows anything first hand.

Oh Happy, Happy , Joy, Joy.
The House is going to have another hearing to find out what went wrong and punish any wrongdoers.
Just like they did with Fast & Furious, Benghazi, the IRS and God only knows how many others?
WOOZERS SANDY!
What we need to do is give Wahington a huge enema!

Hmmm... CGI, is that Computer Generated Image? No wonder it doesn't work in the real world.

This excerpt is from Barnhardt.biz, which was published yesterday:

3. There are now basically two camps on the ObamaCare website fiasco. There is a camp that says that the site was built to crash and cause denial of service attacks on itself because the regime didn’t want people to see that insurance premiums are skyrocketing.

There is another camp of IT guys that says that the entire website is a Potemkin Village – that it is just a front-end facade with a data entry form, and that there is no real code underneath the facade to actually sell people insurance on an “exchange”. This is VERY plausible.

When massive database code is written, it is broken up into tiny tasks with each task assigned to a team. When the Red Team finishes Task A and the Blue Team finishes Task B, the Yellow Team is tasked with knitting the Task A code together with the Task B code. And once that is done, that finished bit, called Part D is then married to Part E which was created in the same way, and that goes on and on for level upon level. There are entire companies that do nothing but micro-manage these tasks and teams so that a massive, whole database project can be accomplished.

What this means is that an entire group or even company is totally unaware of what is going on elsewhere in the project, because all they focus on is their specific taskset.

So, the guys who wrote the front-end code would have no clue and no way of knowing that no one was writing any code to create a functioning insurance exchange. Everyone would just ASSUME that it was happening – just not in their office, or even their company, and they would happily write and pass their code for their tasks up the chain assuming and trusting that the whole ObamaCare exchange project was, you know, REAL.

So… where did the $650,000,000.00 go? Oh, I couldn’t even begin to hazard a guess...

Under federal regs, these proceedings constitute an administrative matter. They can lose their jobs for not cooperating, but not their pensions. If handled as a criminal investigation, and they refuse to cooperate by invoking fifth amendment protections, they could lose their jobs AND their pensions, and face jail and fines, if found culpable. Roll of the dice, but first, it's up to the Repubs to issue subpoenas, put these people under oath, and declare proceedings as part of a criminal investigation with a view towards prosecution. If you expect anybody to "sing," you have to put them under extreme pressure, and offer immunity. As it stands now, there's no incentive to cooperate.

The 476,000 number is as fake as 0bama’s BC, until someone in the regime shows us the numbers

I would suggest that she will offer a defense based on e mails and meeting minutes written in terse technical jargon that although actually meaningless seems to yield the thought that everything is ok.

“The XHTML relay handles subjected to reverse transition redundencies were found to promote the connection with the insurors entry portals in the desired dynamic sequencing ladder. “

No one will be responsible because no one knows what is going on! And they will not account for the millions spent, either. They cringe their faces and reply why are you bothering me.

My guess, the $650,000,000 was spent on 0bama’s re-election campaign: the part where they vaccummed data from people’s smart phones, especially the 0bamaphones, to craft campaign promises, uncover what people do not like about republicans, craft lies about Republicans, create ads for late night TV, what to say during a radio interview with “Pimp with a limp”, get out the vote effort, etc, etc.

Why wouldn’t she testify? Using the F&F debacle and the shutdown “crisis” as examples, Congress won’t do anything but roll over and play dead. Heck, after she testified, they’d probably vote her some $2 billion pork scheme for more ZeroCare.

My sentiments exactly.

The Republican invertebrates are just performing another show for their voters. It won’t get far because they are scared they might offend independents, are afraid the media will chastise them, know they will be called racist - the list is endless as to why the chicken shit pansies will not push very hard.
