ObamaCare enrollees to join president in Rose Garden (Video) By Justin Sink - 10/20/13 05:12 PM ET
President Obama "will directly address the technical problems" with the ObamaCare website during a Rose Garden event Monday morning, according to a White House official.
The president will discuss work continuing "around the clock" to improve the website, which has been plagued by problems since its launch earlier this month. According to the White House official, the president and his team find those troubles "unacceptable."
The official said the president will be joined by "consumers, small business owners, and pharmacists," including individuals who have already enrolled in ObamaCare online.
Many individuals have reported issues creating accounts on the website, which allows uninsured Americans to shop for health insurance. Healthcare providers have also complained that the government has turned over error-riddled data for those Americans who are able to successfully purchase coverage on the exchange.
Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have expressed outrage with persistent problems. The House Energy and Commerce Committee plans to hold a hearing on the website's issues during the week.
On Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the issue "has to be fixed."
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Pat Roberts (R-Kansas) have called for the resignation of Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sibelius over the issues.
In a blog post on Sunday, HHS said it had called in "some of the best and brightest" to help iron out the technical glitches.
We have updated the site several times with new code that includes bug fixes that have greatly improved the HealthCare.gov experience, the agency said. Today, more and more individuals are successfully creating accounts, logging in, and moving on to apply for coverage and shop for plans. We're proud of these quick improvements, but we know there's still more work to be done.
The White House said the president will also stress that the Affordable Care Act is "much more than just a website" in the event.
"The product quality, affordable insurance is good, and if anything, the interest and demand at the launch of HealthCare.gov proves just how urgently Americans want and need access to these new health care options," the White House official argued.
Despite the technical issues that have plagued the opening weeks of the new exchanges, the White House has been eager to highlight the intense interest in the marketplaces.
According to the White House, there have been more than 19 million unique visits to the website since its launch this month. And an administration official said Saturday that nearly a half million Americans have begun shopping for insurance on the site, although the White House did not announce how many of this individuals had successfully purchased coverage.
Oh good. The attention whore wants more attention.
And watch the networks worship the Clown.
Will the multi-million dollar contractors join them?
They were bragging half a million. Are they gonna put them all in the rose garden?
Brain dead morons as political props for a fascist dictator. What an idea!
Should be room for all three of them.
“...the interest and demand at the launch of HealthCare.gov proves just how urgently Americans want and need access to these new health care options,” the White House official argued.
Makes you wonder if these spox can even hear what they
A useful tool...
I wonder what level of COMPENSATION they will receive for the affection they will slather on The Great Leader?
an extra hundred for a Bow From The Waist?
FIfty Bucks if they bring doggie biscuits for BO?
Alinsky. The idiots buy this manure.
I hate these people.
What will be good is that the day after, some of those in the photo op will be ID’d as being Democratic party activists for Ogabecare. I wonder how many will be ID’d? I bet all of ‘em!
Exactly. These stunts WORK.
we love you barack
sung to the tune of “we love you Conrad.....” from Bye Bye Birdie
All three? (Does that also include Moochelle?)
Wonder who he will blame for the enrollment problems. Expect to hear the word “Republicans” quite a few times.
The president has found a lot of things to be "unacceptable" over the years. Nothing has been done about any of them.
"Republicans" is no longer divisive enough. "Factions in the Republican Party," is a safer bet.
I’m YOUR PUPPET
WaPo: “Even now, administration officials are declining to disclose many details about the debugging effort. They will not say how many experts whom they describe as the best and the brightest are on the team, when the team began its work or how soon the sites flaws might be corrected. Still, in talking about the repairs, administration officials for the first time conceded that the sites problems extend beyond well-publicized front-end obstacles, such as with setting up a personal account.”
lets speculate on what they will say...
... I am a 50 year old gay man who spend the last 30 years stuffing my petter into anything and everything I could while thinking I was invulnerable and not bothering to buy or even try to obtain health insurance. Now that I am HIV positive and my medical bills are in the millions I am grateful that President Obama has forced you to pay more for your health insurance so that I can get the care I need for free. Thank you President Obama!
bla bla bla...
well, they all fit
just what America needs, another silly-assed propaganda side show!
(maybe O will sign up for CommieCare, too?)
if the Republicans weren’t a bunch dumbass fools they’d be organizing 500 people to come to the capitol steps tomorrow morning with the letters from their insurance company that says they lost their coverage because of the ACA ...but, Republicans are absolutely idiots so no way that could ever pull that off ..they’ll sit around with their thumbs up their ass and whine and work on passing amnesty
I wash I was a hacker and instead of having ostupido appear It would be funny to have footage or images like ablve on the telly
thanks for letting us know this...
will keep TV off in the morning...
My mom always used Monday’s as WASH DAY...meaning laundry..
guess I’ll follow her practice tomorrow, the sun is suppose to be out so I’ll also hang the laundry out...
“maybe O will sign up for CommieCare, too?”
I doubt if Obummercare will pay for fecal impaction removal.
All 40 of them?
Anyone who goes out of his way to prove he’s right ... is wrong.
maybe if they just entered it using the billing code for a sex change operation?
Seriously? I mean, seriously?
Many years ago, I had a teacher who was in Nazi Germany as a young girl. They exhibited her as the perfect Aryan girl.
History repeats itself in so many ways.
Are they paying union scale wages to be there or just entering their names into the raffle for a free flat game box?
Why the Hell should people have to create an account just to shop? Does amazon do this? The reason Obama is forcing this nonsense is to stop people from having sticker shock or worse.
Just once I’d like a private sector technical expert go public w the WH “invitation” and publicly tell them to go to Hell, and why.
I wonder if “the president” would comprehend the meaning of a suggestion that he auto-copulate.
Time for Barry’s MSM to make a silk purse out of this sows’s ear.
Survivor: The Obamacare Edition
Both of them?
That is a success rate just short of 3% of the visitors that have been able to start looking at insurance rates. Really something worth bragging about,
I am guessing that any amount of research into any "average" Americans at Obama's rose garden event will show connections to the usual unions and political allies of the president. Their stories will most likely be embellished to the point of starting with "once upon a time."

The teleprompter presidency again degenerated into farce yesterday when it staged a spectacle intended to create the impression that doctors welcome absorption into Comrade Obama's socialist blob:
In a heavy-handed attempt at reviving support for health-care reform, the White House orchestrated a massive photo op to buttress its claim that front-line physicians support Obama.
A sea of 150 white-coated doctors, all enthusiastically supportive of the president and representing all 50 states, looked as if they were at a costume party as they posed in the Rose Garden before hearing Obama's pitch for the Democratic overhaul bills moving through Congress.
The physicians, all invited guests, were told to bring their white lab coats to make sure that TV cameras captured the image.
But some docs apparently forgot, failing to meet the White House dress code by showing up in business suits or dresses.
So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area.
If it's going to be that phony, why not just round up left-wing social workers and pretend they are doctors, Sheila Jackson Lee style?
IOW, we'll get a look at the first group who took the mark of the beast.gov.
Both of them?
Triple check their backgrounds and their OCare enrollment records.
Once again, are we paying to fly them in?
Astroturf. Let’s see how many white lab coats this time.
