Posted on 10/20/2013 6:24:25 PM PDT by markomalley
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnells campaign spokeswoman Allison Moore attacked the Senate Conservatives Fund for endorsing McConnells primary challenger Matt Bevin on Friday. Matt Bevin now has the dubious honor of standing with a self-serving D.C. fundraising group that made its name by recruiting and promoting unelectable candidates that ensured Barack Obama a majority in the Senate, Moore said in a statement to the Washington Post. They clearly care less about Kentuckians than they do about their reputation for supporting laughably bad candidates. Now they can add a New England bailout recipient who claims he went to MIT to their roster of notable failures."
The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF), the group Moore was referring to, was instrumental in helping Sens. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) win their races for the U.S. Senate against establishment candidates.
Matt Bevin is a true conservative who will fight to stop the massive spending, bailouts, and debt that are destroying our country, SCF executive director Matt Hoskins said in a Friday morning statement.
He is not afraid to stand up to the establishment and he will do what it takes to stop Obamacare. We know that winning this primary won't be easy. Mitch McConnell has the support of the entire Washington establishment and he will do anything to hold on to power. But if people in Kentucky and all across the country rise up and demand something better, we're confident Matt Bevin can win this race.

pound sand Mitch
Mitch “The Collaborator” McConnell is on his way to retirement!
Nice projection there Miss Moore.
Can't the same be said about the NRSC and the RINOs who surrender to Obama at every turn?
Looks like Mitch knows he is in trouble after supporting ObamaCare and getting the Kentucky Kickback.
Good to see Senate Conservatives Fund making way. Better than the Karl Rove groups, the US Cham of Commerce, Norquist’s terror supporting ACU, and other assorted GOP pro-ObamaCare groups
C’mon Kentucky. Don’t screw up again.
If only the Republicans hated Liberals as much as they do Conservatives.....
Joe Carr to oust Lamar Alexander in TN
Lee Bright to oust Lindsey Graham in SC
Chris McDaniel to oust Thad Cochran in MS
Dr. Milton Wolf to oust Pat Roberts in KS
Katrina Pierson to oust Pete (NOT Jeff) Sessions in TX-32
Bryan Smith to oust Mike Simpson in ID-2
David Hale to oust Adam Kinzinger in IL-16
PLEASE, contact Louie Gohmert and tell him we want to add his name as opposing Cornyn
Allison, honey, Mitch the Vichy Republican is well on the way to proving himself "unelectable". He is already trailing the Democrat nominee in the polls.
So, may I ask whether it might be appropriate for Kentucky Republicans to vote for a real conservative -- instead of a Democrat collaborator?
You folks in Washington really should spend more time out here, talking to the folks...and taking their opinion into account.
“supporting laughably bad candidates”
Just to put this in perspective, she is saying the candidates who have been endorsed by SCF and both won and lose, were laughably bad. That’s several of Mitch’s colleagues.
F U Senator.
Time to get rid of this creep and his creepy staff.
MATT BEVIN FOR SENATE 2014
I just met another convert today...lost his job
"You all can trust ME and Obama. We are BFF."
"I want the people to know that they still have 2 out of 3 branches of the government working for them, and that ain't bad."
He doesn't need a majority in the senate with you leading the "opposition", loser.
If I was *itch McConnell, I wouldn’t be talking about taking federal handouts. At ALL.
Unlike the establishment GOP who gave us 'Mitt' Romney
Do these ‘staffers’ really honestly believe we haven’t figured out their twisted game yet? Really?
There is nothing the gop-e can say now that I would run with, nothing.
If these guys lived in Massachusetts, they would all be fudge packing, abortion-loving Democrats. Bob
Like McCain, Boner and other RINOs, Mitch is a real snapping turtle when it comes to his allies.
Too bad they can’t channel some of that animus towards the Democrats. You’re history, tortoise.
Arlen Specter started a movement.
FUMM...and your whole “Dam” deal
He looks like a turtle.
Yup...like as in a bowel movement for RINO’s?
keep attacking the base McConnel. That’ll get Tea Party/Conservatives to vote for you/s
America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!
I agree, but I do not have any love for them either.
so true! Obama doesn’t need the Dems to control the Senate when he has RINOs who serve him so well...
It’s time for your wimpy old ass to retire. You are an embarrassment to your country, your state and to your family. You have caved to the destruction of America at every turn. Shut up and quit attacking the people who want your grandchildren to have a future. Go home.
Mitch McConnell is a Vichy Republican. If he’s still alive when America is liberated, his head will be shaved and he’ll be marched through the streets along with the other whores and collaborators.
We are not going to get this country back until we pass laws demanding that senators and representatives MUST take their own staff from their own state to DC and that staff must return to the state when they leave. There is a permanent group of people who run DC and it is not the senators or representatives, it is the staff.
It is not an accident Mitch.
Restoring conservatism by all means necessary, means you have to go. Sorry, nothing personal.
Twenty years is more than enough time for you to realize that we are in a fatal political war.
One that we don't intend to lose.
Unelectable candidates like Scott Brown, George Allen, whoever lost in North Carolina, Mitt Romney, Carly Fiorina, etc. etc. It seems like the Tea Party, which has elected the likes of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson and Pat Toomey (the latter two in deep blue states) has a better track record than the GOPe in getting congressional seats.
Well Mitch. If you behaved like a conservative, this never would have happened.
NPR’s Politifact site about the tax deliquency claims:
Bevin at M.I.T.? (NPR doesn’t mention it that I could find)
Matt Bevin: Im not a Tea Party guy
What’s Mitch McC upset about now. He knows the Republican primary voter sin in KY are not smart enough to repudiate him.
People in KY are not that familiar with the word “collaborator”. But McC they recognize, and they really seem to think that he can rescue them from some dreadful danger.
Sadly though people in KY are so uninformed that have no knowledge at all really of McC’s record. If they did, they still probably would re-nominate him.
does Rand still support mitch...this was earlier in the year: http://hotair.com/archives/2013/03/28/unity-rand-paul-endorses-mitch-mcconnell/
Rubio endorsed Midge earlier today on one of the Sunday shows. Birds of feather...
"Two Senators have been seen in this town with spines and b@lls, and the four of us are pretty miffed about it".
An owe-bama in wolf's clothing? He is a cousin of owe-bama on his mother's side.
Any DNA in common should disqualify him.
