Former Governor Jeb Bush weighed in on Senator Ted Cruz today on ABCs This Week. Bush said Cruz needs to, Have a little bit of self-restraint.
ABC News reported:
During an interview for This Week, former Republican Florida Gov. Jeb Bush encouraged Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz who told ABC News that he would do anything to stop Obamacare to come up with an alternative and show some restraint if his aim was to repeal the presidents signature healthcare law.
I think the best way to repeal Obamacare is to have an alternative; we never hear the alternative we could do this in a much lower cost with improved quality based on our principles, free market principles and two, show how Obamacare, flawed to its core, doesnt work, Bush said.
So have a little bit of self-restraint. It might actually be a politically a better approach to see the massive dysfunction, he said, after being asked by ABCs Jonathan Karl what his message would be for Cruz, who is still keen on repealing Obamacare.
Bush said the linking of government funding to the funding of Obamacare by Republicans was a tactical misstep.
Speaking of self-restraint, it would be nice if Jeb would have some restraint and quit bashing fellow Republicans.
That would be nice for a change.
FYI this has already been posted.
Didn’t come up in a search....
Ask your GOP members of the House and Senate plus every other Republican elected official which side they are on????????
I am tired of being restrained.
Jeb, talk to your dictator in the making I.e. Herr Obama.
Cruz had an “alternative” - defund the damned thing!
The last “Bush” that made any sense was the one Moses was talking to.
Stay out da Bushes!!!
Shut up Jeb.
Someone tell Royal Pigface that the "alternative" is to get government out of healthcare.
I fell asleep reading Bush’s comment while I stayed up listening to Sen. Cruz.
Showing ‘restraint’ has gotten us to where we are. It’s time for GOP pols to realize we are fighting a political total war. Those old incumbents who want to get along and conduct business-as-usual either need to adapt to a new way of doing business, or get out .
That’s putting the hammer right on the old head of the nail.
You’re more generous than I, though. I would not give those incumbents a second—more like ten millionth—chance.
Restraint seems to have gotten us in this mess. I have restrained my wallet from opening as well.
I hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but Ted Cruz worked for Bush Corp on the 2000 race, met his wife while they both worked for George W., his wife was CFR.
IOW, Jeb has known Ted for a long time. Cruz is a Rove-trap. Sorry folks. I really hope I’m wrong...
... but now everyone has to be vetted and re-vetted until they have been Palin-vetted.
At one time I was a Jeb fan.
After the Hitlery award he gave then this, I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher.
His daddy should have showed restraint the night Jeb Bush was conceived.
I see, do nothing, just let the nation suffer so more do nothing republicans can be elected. Great plan.
So if the public is about to be raped, they should basically sit back and enjoy it because in a few years, the GOPe will introduce a plan?
What a cold hearted, out of touch bastard! People are about to be financially ruined by these plans if they want to have insurance that previously, they could actually afford!
This is an emergency for real people! I guess Jeb just doesn't know any...
Mind your own business Trojan democrap.
