Marco Rubio endorses Mitch McConnell’s re-election
Lexington Herald Leader ^ | 10/20/13 | Sam Youngman

Two days after a conservative political action committee endorsed his Republican challenger, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was gifted a trump card in the form of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

Rubio, like Kentucky’s junior Sen. Rand Paul, has enjoyed immense support from the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party, and his endorsement of McConnell on Fox News Sunday gives the embattled senior senator some much-needed cover.

Rubio’s backing comes at a critical time for McConnell.

If Rubio were on fire, and I had a full bladder ... I’d look the other way.

Marco Rubio is practicing to be the senate’s next McCain. When he is fully groomed, McCain can retire

This Tea Party member could care less who RINO Rubio supports. Rubio can go after the RINO support next election. I don't think he is going to get much Tea Party support.

It would appear they have internalized one message from the Founders - "We must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."

I am not sure an endorsement from Rubio is a good thing following his actions and comments on amnesty

indeed... how ridiculous... as though Rubio's endorsement is going to move any one from the Tea Party to support Mitch...

McConnell BARELY won in 2008 and his support has only gone down. If McConnell is the republican nominee, he will lose.

In a race between McConnell and a democrat, McConnell WILL NOT be the “lesser of two evils.”

That’s why we need Matt Bevin to defeat McConnell in the primary, to keep the seat.

Excellent point! A Rubio endorsement is about as important as two rinos humping. Somebody needs to post the picture.

BTW, what do Kentuckians think of Floridians anyway? I'll bet it is close to what we in SW Pennsylvania think of Philadelphians.

It’s the political version of the old (1961 - 1966) TV series “Sing Along With Mitch”. But, unlike the musical version, the political version is off-key and tone deaf.

Rubio doesn’t enjoy Tea Party support anymore. Just let him try to make a 2016 presidential run without that support.

ROTFLMAO!
Who cares what Rubio says or does, except another endangered Rino? He is one and done.

If grass roots Republicans manage to nominate good candidates and win enough elections to controll the Senate, count on Rubio, McCain and their noxious ilk to suddenly declare themselves either Independent, or full bore Democrat.
