Two days after a conservative political action committee endorsed his Republican challenger, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was gifted a trump card in the form of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
Rubio, like Kentuckys junior Sen. Rand Paul, has enjoyed immense support from the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party, and his endorsement of McConnell on Fox News Sunday gives the embattled senior senator some much-needed cover.
Rubios backing comes at a critical time for McConnell.

Marco goes establishment RINO- follow the money
Not surprising coming from an establishment GOP lickspittle.
If Rubio were on fire, and I had a full bladder ... I’d look the other way.
Marco Rubio is practicing to be the senate’s next McCain. When he is fully groomed, McCain can retire
This Tea Party member could care less who RINO Rubio supports. Rubio can go after the RINO support next election. I don't think he is going to get much Tea Party support.
The club members have got each others backs.
It would appear they have internalized one message from the Founders - "We must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."
I am not sure an endorsement from Rubio is a good thing following his actions and comments on amnesty
indeed... how ridiculous... as though Rubio's endorsement is going to move any one from the Tea Party to support Mitch...
Voted for you Mario...it wont happen again you greedy E GOP son of a gun...I want a CONSERVATIVE who is for stuff conservatives are for an not some AMNESTY pushing bozo from liberal la la land
They always get bought off. TERM LIMITS IS THE ONLY ANSWER.
Would the Titanic have stayed afloat if they had sold just one more ticket?
McConnell BARELY won in 2008 and his support has only gone down. If McConnell is the republican nominee, he will lose.
In a race between McConnell and a democrat, McConnell WILL NOT be the “lesser of two evils.”
That’s why we need Matt Bevin to defeat McConnell in the primary, to keep the seat.
BTW, what do Kentuckians think of Floridians anyway? I'll bet it is close to what we in SW Pennsylvania think of Philadelphians.
Marco shows his”TRUE COLORS”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course he does! DId anyone ever think it would be different?
Strike two, a$$hole.
