Its not the GOP that President Barack Obama has to worry about in defending his botched health care rollout; its fellow Democrats.
They voted for the law, sang its praises for three-plus years and still believe in the promise of health care reform. But now they face a conundrum: stay in lock step with Obama and risk their credibility as advocates for the laws benefits or publicly criticize the administration for its recent problemsespecially a failure to more quickly acknowledge, and rectify, the major malfunction of its Internet marketplace.
Its a particularly vexing question for Democrats worried about their partys chances in the 2014 midterm elections, and, increasingly, theyre opting for the latter strategy.

I guess Nancy finally found out what was in the bill after she passed it.
The ‘Rats and the RINOs own it all. Let them eat crap.
If that is their thinking they are woefully defective. OBAMA WANTS it to fail. It will generate political pressure from MILLIONS of uninsured Americans for socialized medicine.
The Dems were successful to a limited degree here because the GOP did not hang this shut down on Obama AND because THEY blinked - not Obama.
Exactly! And when you have "representatives" of the republican party such as McCain and King going on CNN, cBS, NBC referring to the shutdown as the GOP controlled House shutdown it's almost impossible to change the minds of the American people. I mean, if part of the party concedes responsibility while nobody on the democrat side blames themselves - it's going to be hard to change the national consensus.
The real enemy are the RINOs that attacked Ted Cruz and the Tea Party. If I were a non- tea party republican I would not be able to condone such a dishonest act. McCain, Graham, King could only do such as thing if they dislike conservative republicans in their own party more than they dislike the most leftists of the democrat left.
These RINOs need to go by being primaried. If they win the primary, the Tea Party candidate needs to run against them as an independent. We need to rid ourselves of "republicans" who aid the democrats by attacking conservatives within their own party. They are MORE dangerous to the republican party than democrats could even think of being.
