The man was frightened, but he was also armed. Once you pull the trigger in a situation like this don’t stop pulling it until the gun is empty.

Tav-vell was shot when he donned a mask and pulled a gun on the pharmacist.

Was the robber not just trying to turn his life around? I heard he was an aspiring rapper going to college and just wanted some sinus medicine.

Sadly, this pharmacist will suffer... after all he put five years into college to help people, trust me, there’s a great deal of altruism in the medical industry. Sad it came to this. Better that he went home to his family, but a sorry stste of affairs that this is what it took.

You stop shooting once the attacker no longer presents a threat. As I was advised by an instructor at NRA headquarters, once the man starts falling, stop. Otherwise, you can be charged with second-degree murder.

The NRA man never had a guy shot once get back up and attack him again.
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I agree with the first sentence, but I think it gets a little more complicated after that.
Time seems to slow down for a lot of people when in a life and death situation. People can often empty a gun faster than it takes a person to fall down.
Do not shoot a man who no longer can hold a weapon, but realize that people can take a lot of punishment and keep on fighting.
It is pretty common to run a gun dry without even realizing how many shots were fired.

Even the police are trained to put two in the chest, and one in the head.
If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

Our pharmacist was approached by a bad dude wanting drugs not money. The pharmacist fixed him up with enough to knock him out in about 10 minutes and a glass of water.

Also, you don’t want to waste bullets that may be needed for a second or third bad guy.
