Consumer Reports magazine is urging readers to stay away from Healthcare.gov until software developers can fix the problems plaguing the site.
In a blog post advising consumers on how to navigate around some of the most common issues, Consumer Reports concluded that it's not even worth attempting to use the online portal until the fixes are in.
If all this is too much for you to absorb, follow our previous advice: Stay away from Healthcare.gov for at least another month if you can, Nancy Metcalf wrote. Hopefully that will be long enough for its software vendors to clean up the mess theyve made.
Speaker John Boehners (R-Ohio) press secretary Brendan Buck pounced on the report.

Many potential customers have been unable to register or login to the website.
The Department of Health and Human Services said over the weekend it was bringing in some of the best and brightest for repairs, but some are forecasting the fix could take months.
It’s the mother of Epic Fails!
Only idiots would reveal their most personal information on such a website.
Congratulations, dimwitted American voters - this is what you voted for. Twice. Enjoy!
...probably catch a nasty virus. Just saying.
Just a reminder, Consumer Reports helped shove Obamacare down your throats
Youre the reason weve come so far, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), told advocacy groups supporting reform at a press conference in the capitol today. DeAnn Friedholm, director of Consumers Unions healthcare reform campaign, was there representing CU, which has endorsed the House bill and supports passage of the Senate bill. You never let us forget this fight isnt about politics, it isnt about partisanship, its about peoplereal people, said Reid.
Well at least the guy that came up with “ New Coke” can now sleep well knowing he is no longer responsible for the biggest marketing screw up in history.
CU will go where the money is .... they are bought and paid for.
It’s a government entrapment scheme. Put down the wrong income, or other incorrect info, and you’ve perjured yourself. Don’t succeed in enrolling, and the IRS will instantly know who to fine, cancel passport, place lien, or garnish wages w/o the help of the NSA.
I wonder how many people will have income tax refunds garnished in April, 2015 to pay for their Obamacare premiums.
Or, what happens if you sign up for Obamacare insurance and then don’t pay? Will the IRS go after you for unpaid insurance premiums like they do taxes and federally backed student loans?
The Hippies’ ‘Bible’?! Oh my ....
BarryCare went from being a “big ****ing deal” to a BIG ****ing mess. Thanks Rimshot Joe! America owes you a beer.
Along with AARP
BTW legal insurrection is a great site
(next month’s headline) Consumer Reports harassed and threatened while slimed by MSNBC, CNN and the New York Times...
I see these stupid fascists cant even get the trains to run on time...
Try as they might, noone can spin this monster into something good. Yeah, don't worry, it'll be better when the fix is in. Egads!
