Experts stunned at cost for Healthcare.gov website development
My FOX-TV DC ^ | October 22, 2013

“My overall sense, right from day one, was it was created by people who had never created a commercial database application before," said FMS Software developer Luke Chung.

Chung looked over the site and was stunned by the code and the cost - by some estimates, perhaps $200 million.

Chung continued, “At $200 an hour, that would be a million man hours, 5,000 man years. I don't think they had time to use 5,000 man years. So I don't know where the money went. I don't know what these people were doing. There're not that many web pages. I don't get it! Where'd the money go?"

It’s called back door reparations... it’s never been about healthcare.

“Where’d the money go?”

To Obama’s cronies and supporters.

Next question?

The money went where it always does, into donor’s pockets to be laundered and returned to “the party.”

Silly techie. The money went to someone who promised a kick-back to the Democrats’ campaign fund so they can pay for votes in next year’s House elections. Then Obama can rule the country as planned by Soros and Company.

Vengeance.

He’s really not about helping the self-defined oppressed.
He’s about “punishing” those he defines as oppressors.

We’re just gonna simplify the process and make it a single payer plan.

This is the logical end result of a system where those people who write the laws are in essence their own watchdogs, which leads to failure every time.

" Urinating on US taxpayers."

Nope, they will tell us it's just a pre-spring rain.

Just wait until the crapper comes and they tell us it's just hail coming down.

The real cost of this website has been added to the Benghazi secret files, its being made public would hurt national security.

I heard it was a $22k donation that netted the $200 million contract.

My special friend, who is a woman of color, and tends somewhat toward liberal thinking absolutely blasted the administration last night on Obamacare.

Her point was that Amazon handles more transactions, much better, and makes money doing it, and didn't cost the tax-payer half a billion dollars.

The liberals are beginning to lose some around the edges with Obamacare.

I’ve been in IT since the early 80’s. When I heard how much this effort cost, my jaw dropped. The cost was absurd, by a couple of orders of magnitude.

And that is assuming that the final product would have worked well.

They should have gone with Intuit. Intuit handles millions of tax returns and keeps up with tax laws annually etc. IMO, would have been a perfect match for a fraction of the cost with a company that knows how to deliver in pressure situations.

Of course I hate the law completely....but if it was my job to pick the subcontractor for the site design, Intuit would be one of the first companies I'd talk to.

Somebody needs to take a CLOSE LOOK at the contracts, not just for development but also for planning and testing. That will tell much of the story. Who did what and at what cost?

Don’t be surprised if some of the contract files and records are missing.

I’d look in the bank accounts of the DNC for that money.
