There are some fantastic Milton Friedman addresses and interviews to counter this brainwashing. I particularly like the one where takes on Michael Moore concerning the Ford Pinto.
This guy might make a good argument that it does.

For a week, I had my pc replaying all of the Milton freidman youtube videos.I learned more Iin that week than in all of high school.
I’ll check some out. I’m confident that all of us here know a LOT more than either Barry or his Administration. We all balance budgets and know we can’t spend what we don’t have, and if WE printed money like the Feds, we’d be in jail.
Friedman is solid. He confirmed a lot I believed where I wasn’t sure why. He is a great speaker and doesn’t back down.

One time, I went to Valley Fair with my mom and brother. We drove 150 miles to Minneapolis. She paid $20 each ticket. I spent the whole day riding the bumper cars.

I remember when the first go-kart tracks appeared, early/mid-60s, in the Chicago NW Suburbs (Arlington Heights), and I abandoned the bumps for the karts. Crude chassis with British Seagull 1.5 HP lawn motor engines, but fun as hell.
