President Barack Obama didn't know about the problems with the Affordable Care Act's website -- despite complaints from insurance companies and the site's crashing during a test run -- until days into its now well-documented abysmal launch, the nation's health chief told CNN on Tuesday.
In an exclusive interview with CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted Tuesday that there is significant concern in her department and the White House over the technical debacle surrounding the Obamacare website's rollout. The site was supposed to make it simple for people to search and sign-up for new health care policies starting on October 1, but instead it's been clunky and, at times, inoperable.
"We're not at all satisfied with the workings of the website," Sebelius said. "We want it to be smooth and easy and let consumers' compare plans."
She noted how Tuesday, a team of high-tech experts from within the government and from Silicon Valley, and led by Jeff Zients -- a former CEO and acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, who will oversee the process for the next few months -- are coming in to address the issues.
Why weren't they brought in before the website launched October 1?
"We have hoped that they had their 'A-Team' on the table," Sebelius said in response. As to now, "We want new eyes and ears. We want to make sure that we get all the questions on the table, that we get all the answers and accelerator the fix as quickly as possible."

So Kathy, what you are saying is you let your boss down. HARD!!!
Oh, please—”didn’t know” . She is the chief govt. executive of the dept. charged with developing the system after the law was passed in 2010— ie 3 years ago. This is “dog ate my homework” kind of excuse—but provable incompetence that she never asked the developer for progressive meetings on the development and the beta testing. Apparently the beta testing was done 3 weeks before roll out with 100 people signing online at the same time.... and crashed.
Incompetence of a level that is purely political in protection. And millions affected by it. Cloward -Piven.
Who believes this? This is Obama’s signature legislation and he is not being informed? BS.
The Dog Ate His Homework.
The criminals who passed, designed, approved, administer (and so forth) should be arrested, tried and imprisoned if found guilty. They hate Freedom and hate you.

The Obama media acting as human shields for Obama.
Why the hell didn’t they abide by the constitution and just leave it alone.
to quote George Zimmerman’s Lawyer
obama was told last year there were problems, that was already reveled by the WH and MSM
The dork is incapable of knowing things either beforehand or afterwards.
He is just plain stupid.
Need I repeat myself?
They probably don’t have access to Obama so they were not able to inform him.
I believe that Obama is dumber than a box of rocks, but even he is not this stupid.
Obama passes a law that will change the social fabric of America and
he’s not the least bit interested on how it’s progressing?
He’s STILL IN CHARGE OF PREPARING THE SITE.
If he didn’t, it indicates very poor leadership. If he did, it shows very poor leadership.
He is such a loser!
Apparently everyone around him is afraid to point out his dumbness for fear of being called racist.
Although it is a sign of time times that all kids are supposed to be told they are good students, good athletes,
good looking and yada yada so as not to hurt their widdle feelings.
