Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin will propose a new law next week called: "If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act."

“One of the most important promises made by President Obama and Democrat congressional leadership to promote the Affordable Care Act was that Americans who were satisfied with their health plans could keep them. That promise has been broken. More than a million Americans have been notified that the plans they like with the coverage they have chosen have been canceled. Millions more Americans will have the plans of their choice canceled in months to come,” says Senator Johnson in a statement.

It’s not often that a Marxist dictatorship allows the proles to have options; no doubt Obama will do all in his power to override this thing.

In order to do this they would need to disassemble Obamacare from top to bottom. The fact is that nobody is forcibly taking policies away from people. The insurance companies are finding themselves in the position where they can’t be profitable with existing policies.

Why is he helping Democrats out of THEIR mess?

Buck up Senator. The Dems wanted it their way. They got their way. They have been incredibly nasty. They made their ball and chain, let them wear it.

Seriously, Senator Johnson?

Insurance companies are already cancelling policies. A new law isn’t going to help that. The old policies do not meet the minimum requirements Obamacare regulates.

Yesterday we saw a thread that Rep. Michelle Bachmann was trying to get a law passed that would make Obamacare voluntary.

==

Can these people not foresee the results of these kinds of law? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the ridiculousness of these proposals.

How about “If you like your income, you can keep it”.

Or “If you like your faith”,
“if you like your independence”,
“If you like your land”,
“If you like your home protection”,
“If you like your children...”

this is the boiled down essence of the coercive kleptocracy.

There is nothing they can’t promise to leave alone and then take anyway.

What are the odds that it will get out of the Senate then the house and make it to the President to sign. Obama is the most shameless liar. he won't care to appear as a hypocrite and not sign this bill and the media would never hold his feet to the fire for it. Jon Stewart would wet his pants in a fit of rage and that would be enough to inoculate Obama from any kind of media critique.

Throw in the $2500 annual premium reduction that O’ Liar also promised...and you’ve got my vote, Senator.

The insurance companies are finding themselves in the position where they can’t be profitable with existing policies.

Senators like Johnson are complete idiots. He was elected with Tea Party support but he apparently doesn't understand that if Obamacare remains in place, there will soon be no companies left with which to negotiate healthcare policies. Notwithstanding any magic wand-waving law he gets passed.

That’s freaking excellent!
Let the scumbag rats vote against it.
I hope somebody in the House picks up this ball, because Reid won’t go near it.

More than a million Americans have been notified that the plans they like with the coverage they have chosen have been canceled.

Obama said people could keep their coverage if they liked it. But insurance companies are doing away with the plans they liked. So does the law force companies to keep offering the plans that they cancelled?

I see that Johnson has finally jumped into action after Mark Levin burned his butt two weeks ago.

Exactly!

Quick fixes these Congresscritters are proposing won’t work.

They are like trying to seal up the tear in the Titanic with bubblegum.

The fact is that nobody is forcibly taking policies away from people.

Plans that don't meet the standards imposed by the ACA are henceforth illegal and must be terminated. So, yes, somebody IS forcibly taking policies away from people.
