Can’t change the name to the Washington Alcoholics if it represents Indian people. There are far more white boy alcoholics than there are Indian alcoholics.

I think the logo is based on the Indian head nickel, which according to Wikipedia, “... In 1938, Fraser stated that the three Indians had been “Iron Tail, a Sioux, Big Tree, a Kiowa, and Two Moons, a Cheyenne”. The Chicago Blackhawks did the same. Their logo looks nothing like Chief Black Hawk, a Sauk, who had a tall, thin, red “Mohawk”.
