In the meantime, army units have seized on Monday a number of Israeli-made missiles held by opposition armed groups to be used against the national military and the peaceful civilians.
"The seizure was made near the village of al-Tabeh in the countryside of the southwestern city of Daraa," Al-Alam TV correspondent reported.
Among the confiscated arms, there were a large amount of Israeli-made weapons and ammunition, including developed machine guns and wireless communication devices.

What makes you think that the Israelis gave them these weapons? AQ is likely to steal these weapons because they are better than the Soviet era garbage that the Syrian Army is using. Letting the blame fall on Israel is an extra bonus.
Israel was used by the US to transfer arms to the rebels in Afghanistan. Russian arms captured from the Arabs, not identifiable as US, certainly not Israeli.

> Israels survival from its earliest days has often involved getting its enemies fighting each other so they arent fighting Israel.

Agit-prop on both sides get posted on FR
we’re getting good at making up our own minds after 15+ years

If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
Strikes me as very unlikely, other than the communications devices mentioned in the article. I'm sure they use cellphones and laptops.
