It's Time to Get Mad As Hell About ObamaCare
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 10/25/2013 | IBD Staff

Revolt: In 1989, angry seniors forced the repeal of a costly new Medicare benefit just a year after it passed. It's time for the millions now being savaged by ObamaCare to rise up and do the same.

When he was selling ObamaCare to the nation, President Obama said: "We will keep this promise to the American people. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away."

Across the country, millions of Americans are now discovering this was an expensive lie.

Of course he does. Then we can move to a single payer system and total control of the US Health Care system by the federal government. And of course the complete unionization of all people involved in the health care industry.

Just keep reminding Americans what the Obamatons want you to forget: E-V-E-R-Y single Democrat voted for this pipedream——and no Republicans supported it.

Sap-happy Oboner touted the law’s aim to provide “free” healthcare -— but that cockasmamie plan was ditched—— Obamatons stealthily deleted “free” from its website (one that works?).

Course, they’re now forced to pack the boondoggle w/ Medicaid enrollees.

ANOTHER REMINDER Who pays for this? You do.

A FReeper suggested labeling ACA Hussein’s UnAffordable Care (HUAC)

I love yanking the Left's chain with that one.

Yes it is officially labeled Obamacare like two decades ago it was called Hillarycare. I am not suggesting a substitute.

Using one of the left's all time favorite pejorative expressions against one of their all time favorite laws is proper justice.

"It's Time to Get Mad As Hell About ObamaCare"

BZZZZZZZT! Wrong answer...the time to get mad as hell (and stay mad as hell) was three or four years ago. To use the overused cliche yet again, the GOP kicked this can down the road until there was no more road. Obamacare should've been derailed and/or defunded four years ago. Of course, the GOP didn't have Ted Cruz in the Senate back then.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

——No one will take it away.-——

Strangely believe it, my Doctor’s medical group took away my Medicare Advantage by refusing to accept it in 2014.

Somewhere lurking the background is Obamacare. I must now find coverage with a different but acceptable Medicare Advantage Provider.

Money may not be much of an issue because the plans are all similar but I will have to set up the new web sites and have perscriptions transferred etc etc. PITA

While this is a nice sentiment, and keeping a promise made would be a wonderful thing from any politician, it’s not likely going to happen.
The insurance companies have seen the future, and if you believe things can go back to the way they were, you might want to harness that methane exiting the hind quarters of your unicorn (alternative, renewable power?).

The ONLY true solution to this mess is to get FedGov COMPLETELY out of the health concerns of the American people.

No, there must be legislation limiting Tort rewards to lawyers.

The limits should be passed and then at least one year to pass to see how things settle out and costs diminish. The legal thieves must be removed from health care first and foremost.

(both plaintiff and defense lawyers are guilty of the disgusting practice)

Very simple, low energy solution:

1. The ultimate in passive resistance, no one participate, change all W4s so no gets a refund that can be used to collect the tax.

2. 2014, vote out anyone on both sides that did not voice opposition to this law. Silent non-participation in the debate equals supporting the law moving forward.

“I think this guy just wants it to fail.”/

“The writer or Bowbama? Or, both? “

I just used the “wants it to fail” talking point because that has basically become a reflex statement for Democrat talking heads. We do need those who are being adversely affected by this law to rise up in anger.

One problem here is that virtually all of those who are being adversely affected are busy working for a living, while the increasing numbers of those who are benefitting from Obamacare by signing up for Medicaid or getting big subsidies have all the time in the world to stage protests.

I believe that Obama does want the current roll-out to fail, and to fail miserably. Obama has shown over and over again that he does his best work enacting “emergency” measures during crises that he has created. What Obama is doing here is a masterpiece in Leftist social engineering, since as the ACA fails it causes Medicaid to expand into the SIngle Payer system that was always the ultimate goal.

As far as the website goes, I don’t think its failure was necessarily part of the plan, he just didn’t care one way or the other and the natural incompetence and corruption of his administration took over. The real failure will occur once the website is running smoothly, the health insurance companies implode and Medicaid become the entitlement to end all entitlements.

I’m starting to like Obamacare. Millions that voted for free stuff found out they are the ones paying the free stuff. Yeah it still sucks, but man I love the show of watching the idiots finally realize what the democrats have been doing to me for years.

I keep hearing people mention that, “Single payer system” what does that mean? That people will have no insurance and pay all costs out of pocket?

That would be “individual payer” and would lead to real market reform.

No, “single payer” means that the government (taxpayer) pays for all medical costs of all people and therefore determines who gets what medical care.
