Remember way back in the distant past - like, two weeks ago - when every Democrat on Capitol Hill was united in the determination that ObamaCare must not be changed, not be delayed, not be modified in any way, because to do so would be a dirty, nasty, right-wing Republican trick?
My. How things change. Dana Bash of CNN tweets that the 13 Democrat senators up for re-election in 2014 are suddenly singing a very different tune:
new: senior dem source tells me to expect every sen dem running in 2014 to back @JeanneShaheen proposal to delay #ACA enrollment deadline

Well thats nice of them, but these same 13 Democrats voted in 2009 to create this monstrosity in the first place. And dont forget how that went down either. Remember that the Senate passed a version of the bill that everyone knew had major problems, taking advantage of its 60-seat, filibuster-proof majority to push the bill through. Then Senator Ted Kennedy died, and was replaced by Republican Scott Brown. That meant the Senate could no longer stop a filibuster, which it would need to do to pass any improved bill coming out of conference after the House passed its version. The only way at that point to pass ObamaCare to have the House pass the Senate bill with no changes, then abuse reconciliation rules to pass the fixes that were needed.
Abusing power is something Harry Reid is only too happy to do.
So every one of these 13 Democrats is responsible for creating the mess in which we now find ourselves. Their sudden conversion to the need for a delay is very nice, but its not enough. If you live in any one of these states, I urge you to vote

Mark Begich (Alaska) Mark Pryor (Arkansas) Mark Udall (Colorado) Mary Landrieu (Louisiana) Al Franken (Minnesota) Max Trainwreck Baucus (Montana) Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire) Tom Udall (New Mexico) Kay Hagan (North Carolina) Jeff Merkeley (Oregon) Tim Johnson (South Dakota) Mark Warner (Virginia) Jay Rockefeller (West Virginia)
If the Minnesotans are dumb enough to elect a nobody like Al Franken to the Senate in the first place — he will probably be there for 30 years.
I suppose mcCain and Sally Lindsey will be doing spots supporting them!!!
They are .......
1. It would be absolutely hysterical if each and everyone of them lost. Good chance Obama would resign instead of getting impeached.
2. Would love to be a fly on the wall in WH on election night.
Didn’t some research show that he actually didn’t win? A good number of his votes came from excons, etc and had the vote not been certified so early, he would have been sent home?
With all the $hit they throw at the wall in the WH to see what sticks, a fly would be naturally drawn to the feast.
Don’t replace them with RINO’s is all I ask but I suspect 13 fake conservatives emotionalizing their opposition to Obamacare have already been picked by the GOPe.
We need to know their names like Mead Treadwell in Alaska for example, the next Lisa Murkowski.
In Arkansas, Congressman Tom Cotton voted with Boehner and the leadership on “getting the government started” which meant funding Obamacare.
And the list goes on.......
Those 7 would give the Republicans the majority in both houses?
It’d be comical to have Cruz as the Senate Leader. I think Obama would poo his pants being forced to debate him, 1 on 1. I’m thinking PPV events.
ha ha ha
‘Rats don’t care — in fact they consider cheating their way into office to be a heroic act for “the common good.”
We didn’t. Stuart Smalley stole that election from Norm Coleman fair and square, with help from Minnesota’s Communist Secretary of State Mark Ritchie.
so who shut down the government?
From the look of it, we now have FOUR MARK BROTHERS, a MAX and a MARY!
Please throw the bum out.
We’re working as hard we can, believe me.
I thought Max Baucus was retiring!!!
If all of those seats are lost (and 3 of them are already lost essentially by default), Obama’s agenda is toast
