On Monday, a reporter for the often-liberal National Journal reported that a top Democratic strategist with ties to the White House and Capitol Hill wrote an email with a subject line “Dem Party is F****d.”
Ron Fournier, the National Journal reporter, noted that the email linked to an article in the Los Angeles Times that has joined the rest of the usually-lefty publications who have grown tired of defending he indefensible Obamacare healthcare overhaul.

Oh, it's as predictable as the rising of the sun, that the Dems will seek to concoct a saleable theory that pins all of the blame for the hurt on the Republicans, big insurance, Dubya, the Tea Party, Jim Rob.
Well, maybe not Jim Rob, but only because they won't remember to add his name to the pile.
The thing is, the left isn't even particularly savvy or smooth about how they conduct that sort of anti-right propaganda. In fact, they're downright inept and sloppy as hell about it. You've got gov't droids now trying to spin away Obama's promise that people could keep their health plans if they liked them. They're forcing talk radio to play the clips of Obama making that promise. Doesn't matter. The leftoid droids keep spinning anyway.
It's like the kid who's caught with his hand in the cookie jar, with oreo crumbs all over his face, who says, "I didn't steal any cookies!" They lie right to our faces with the clear evidence of their guilt in plain sight.
The Republicans are going to have do something extraordinary for once -- fight back.
And all three of those "factions" are trying to outdo each other in the destruction of America.
Their hubris has come out to taunt every American and stick a finger in our eye. I'll bet 90%
of people under 45 have no clue about the dangers of those factions. Extreme dangers of the past.
The middle class has always subsidized health care for the poor. It was just done in a different style. Here's how it worked... poor people would go to an emergency room for a bad cold - they'd be treated, cared for and dismissed with a bill of a few thousand dollars (rather than the $90 doctor bill they would have received from a private physician).
The poor person doesn't pay the outragous bill of $3,000 to treat a cold and the hospital "writes it off" their taxes... All doctors paid, hospital gets rich (but not on the books) and poor have health care.
The big difference with ObamaCare is the Government gets a cut of the action... a big 'cut' - at a big cost to the middle class.
It's gonna hurt 'em sick - even the MSM won't lie for democrats on this one.
If that was directed at me, you can go straight to Hell. I have no shame, NONE, in cashing my piddly-ass check for services rendered to the United States. Lumping us in with moochers, welfare cheats, disability frauds, food stamp abusers, fakers on workman’s comp, welfare queens and other individuals (many of them able-bodied and young) as someone with hands in the money pot is beyond disgraceful! So you’re wishing homelessness and death on me? Great to hear! No wonder so many people in this country have a bad taste in their mouth about conservatives.
You can vote for AMNESTY for the illegals (the Establishment Republican Party plan) and I’ll vote against it. You contribute to the Establishment Republican Party and I’ll contribute directly to individuals who express the Tea Party ideas.
So but I can’t handle Boehner or McCain, Issa or 90% of the rest of them any longer.

The democrats will own Obamacare and pay dearly for it but the Republicans seem intent on a GOPe / conservative self-destructive split.

Great numbers of military retirees and veterans have EARNED their “government checks”, and they may resent being lumped in with the permanent welfare class.

As much as you may or may not deserve “your” check, you have to realize that somebody has to pay for it.
It’s not a commentary on anything but that, but your reaction makes the greater point that your check influences your behavior.
I think it is more likely that she changed the pronunciation of her last name because she is obsessed with sex.

Nobody is talking about combat-wounded being denied support - we should be worried about this. If we do not reign in government checks to the overwhelming majority of Americans who benefit from them, the day will come (who knows when specifically) when the checks for even catastrophically wounded veterans will stop (or become worthless)
That is when we will all need to reclaim the spirit of charity that, as you point out, has been co-opted and destroyed by government.
I don't know, but until Dems + GOP <218 House seats, we will never regain our freedom.
The other Democratic strategists told the Democrats to “own” Obamacare all summer and that was the path to retaking the House. Who to believe?
