She said, Were both frustrated with the idea that only the hyper-conservative wing of the party is going to represent the masses. The last time dad was this depressed, Meghan reported, was after he lost the presidency to then-Senator Barack Obama.
Meghan said, He is so depressed. He is so downtrodden. The way hes talking about it, how hes never seen it this bad in his 30-plus years in office. She then complained about her father having to run another dirty tea party election,

This is excellent. Thanks for posting.
the tea party reciprocates to be sure
just shut up, you fat b*tch.
she’s just a phony.
Maybe he will off himself.
I saw this last week here but its still funny.
"It" would not be anywhere near as bad as it is if Senator McInsane had resigned 24 years ago.
That the whole McCain family isn’t dead as dornails is a stain on all creation, and a blight on all that is good and decent.
Good. He depresses us with his stupidity and his left leaning tendencies, so the feelings mutual.
“Meghan McCain: Dad ‘Frustrated,’ ‘Depressed’ by Tea Party”
This should read “Uncle Democrat told Juan McAmnesty he is frustrated and depressed by getting his ass kicked by the TEA party.”
Thanks Juan, just returning the favor.
Poor guy. Take his shoelaces, belt and tie.
Good! He should resign and leave then.
or come out as an actual democrat.
Now that he has a second job moonlighting as a political prop for Schumer and Durbin, I don’t know what he has to be “frustrated” and “depressed” about. Look at all that extra beer money he’s making! The ‘RATS are paying him, aren’t they?
If Megan cared about daddy dearest, she’d have him locked up somewhere safe where he couldn’t do any more damage to civilization as we used to know it.
McC has done those things to others.
I am so sick of this family.
It would break my heart if he got so depressed he thought of swinging himself.
Meghan, you low-average IQ fool, that’s senility and dementia; and the Tea Party did not cause it. He may be depressed somewhat at his increasing irrelevance and the disappointment he feels regarding his daughter.
No doubt because he knows, I suspect, that Sarah Palin won’t be around this time to bail his fanny out again. Sarah paid her IOU so McCain is now on his own!
Disagree. One son is a Naval aviator. Another son is a Marine. There are some good McCains.
He should retire. He clearly has no fight in him. He should just go away. I got a fundraising letter from him yesterday that said this:
“Barack Obama and the Democrats are falsely claiming a mandate from last year’s election in order to continue to advance their ultra-left agenda of ever-expanding government, massive deficits, and class warfare.
We must act immediately to strengthen and expand our Party for the 2013-2014 election cycle. And we must remain true to our conservative principles so that we can put brakes on the disastrous policies of a second-term Obama administration.
I am determined to do whatever I can to ensure our Party has the resources to win in future elections. That’s why I’ve asked the Republican National Committee if I can write to you today to urge you to support the RNC’s efforts to elect Republicans at all levels in the 2013-2014 elections.”
The fact that they view the Conservative rank and file as “the masses” tells you all you need to know about the McCains.
John McCain is depressed by the Tea Party? Maybe he’ll have to quit Congress over it!
Juan McCain himself was a Marine Aviator thanks to his daddy’s influence.
You beat me to it. He may just end it all. I doubt it though. I’m sure he’ll be like Jimmy Carter and be a pain in the ass for many years to come.
Good. Time for him to retire already.
Really don’t care, Meghan.
Dear Megan, Conservatives have been “frustrated and depressed” by John McCain for the last 10 years. Deal with it!
It pleases me to no end that pappy Juan is depressed. I hope his sleazy daughter is depressed too, just for thinking that the term “hyper-conservative” means something more than conservative. She is showing her ignorance. Someone is either conservative or they aren’t, and pappy Juan isn’t, not at all. Ted Cruz and the members of the Tea Party, most of them anyway, are simply conservatives, as opposed to establishment Republicans who are fanatical Democrats undercover.
Maybe. Just maybe. But from what I’ve seen lately, being a marine or a naval aviator is no guarantee. Not anymore.
Show us pictures of your boobs again.
It’s his own fault. He knew the Democrats were his political enemies but he went along with them to foster “camaraderie”.
Gee, I hope he’s not too depressed. I know a lot of folks out here would love to help the man out. I’m sure one of them would gladly loan him a sidearm.
...recreational target practice being such a good way to focus and get your mind off your troubles.
With luck it will be his LAST election
Obviously, he no longer qualifies to own a gun.
Rush is talking right now about the WA DC insiders who do not want to defeat Obamacare. I realized last week, what is going on. The Republican insiders don’t care about the Middle Class. There is no money in serving the Middle class. Only the wealthy and the poor concern the DC insiders.
If he hates the Tea Party then this turd hates the more informed Americans. What a fool.
Good maybe he will become so depressed he will quit?
FU, you cunning runt.
Suppose you have two parties: the Evil Party, and the Stupid Party. Now, by an incredible Adrian Monkish coincidence, each party has one hundred members.
Each and every member of the Evil Party is, of course, a despicable scoundrel; a serial felon, a moral leper, a sexual malefactor, a taker of bribes, and a stabber of backs.
Only 99 members of the Stupid Party are corrupt, though none is as obdurate as your average Evil Party politician.
If you say, All politicians are the same, what have you done? Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter wrote, It is a wise man who said that there is no greater inequality than the equal treatment of unequals, and that is just what you have done. You have advantaged the Evil Party by asserting that the Stupid Party is just as bad, when that is simply not true.
Now suppose we bring things a little closer to reality. Suppose, as before, each member of the Evil Party is a loathsome, crawling, traitorous, congenitally dishonest, amoral, sociopathic, gun-fearing, pansy-assed, chicken-choking, Starbucks-sipping, godless, America-hating, degenerate, pickle-smooching, liberal-fascist fool.
But the actual number of corrupt Stupid Party politicians is 5, not 99, and, though they are bribe-taking crooks, none of these five is nearly as vile as the dirty, rotten scoundrels of the Evil Party.
When you say all politicians are the same under these circumstances, the inequity is startling.
We human-type persons seem to like symmetry. We want a sensible center, with people becoming less sensible and increasingly extreme the further away from this center that they get, until you reach equally repulsive moonbat extremists on both sides.
In real life this symmetry does not exist. In fact, it would be much more accurate to represent the political spectrum as a continuum stretching from God on the right to Satan on the left. Pick an arbitrary point to the left of the leftmost Stupid Party lackwit, and that point will be well to the right of the rightmost fiend of the Evil Party.
It is important to remember that this is a different left and right than that in common use today. This distinction is not between monarchists and advocates of mob rule, nor even between idiots taken in by socialist drivel and those who know better. It is a distinction between closer to God and closer to the Earl of Hell, and is independent of the personal beliefs of anyone concerned. A Stupid Party imbecile could fancy himself an atheist and still be to the right of a demon-ridden Evil Party Messalina who claimed the label of Catholic without holding or supporting Catholic beliefs.
In the end, it is simply not possible for a human being to get close enough to God: which is to say, far enough to the right.
