White House officials have pressured insurance industry executives to keep quiet amid mounting criticism over Obamacare's rollout, insurance industry sources told CNN.
[snip] After insurance officials publicly criticized the implementation, White House staffers contacted insurers to express their displeasure, industry insiders said.
Multiple sources declined to speak publicly about the push back because they fear retribution.
[snip] "The White House is exerting massive pressure on the industry, including the trade associations, to keep quiet," he said.
Laszewski, who's been a vocal critic of Obamacare, said he's been asked by insurance executives to speak out because they feel defenseless against an administration that is regulating their business -- and a big customer.

Yeah, they fear IRS audit..
The libs are circling. There’s blood in the water and no one wants to be left without a chair.
Our standing army of military is for dealing with the District of Criminals’ foreign enemies.
Our standing army of bureaucrats is for dealing with DC’s domestic enemies.
This is chilling.
Seriously, folks. It’s time some of these 0bamunists go to prison.
That’s understood But more disembodied insurance association groups can raise hell. That way the individual companies aren’t at risk.
>>There is a big difference between the Socialist Obamacare and the Capitalist Free Market Insurance Companies....Obamacare is NOT Capitalist...it is pure Socialist Medicine...period!
And these so-called Capitalist Free Market companies just got in line with the Fascist government and obeyed. They aren’t heroes. They’re accomplices. They don’t care if Americans are bankrupted and the economy is destroyed, as long as they can take some profit and get it offshore before the whole thing collapses.
Amerika the free...

Exactly! The trade associations could have told him to go pack sand. But, those are the some insurance executives who could see a huge opportunity to fleece the people in this debacle, so they just shut up and played ball with the tyrant.
I pray to God that the dems lose the Senate in 2014 and the republicans retain the house in 2014 — Then the hearings will start...and those that have felt intimidated into silence will finally step forward. Then....we will see. The fhit will hit the san and then “the one’s” legacy will get what it deserves...
More accurately, it is fascist.
Not if they pass an immigration bill.

I know we don't do things that way, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a blindfold and last cigarette.
Never call it "singer payer" which sounds kind of nice and neutral. That is Obama's term for NATIONAL SOCIALIST healthcare.
When libs scream in fury, just ask them, which part is incorrect, the NATIONAL or the SOCIALIST?
Then they will blubber that you don't know the difference between COMMUNIST socialism and FASCIST socialism, and the trap is set. They are then open to discuss only whether Obamacare more closely resembles the Communist system, or the Nazi system.
You can take the punk out of Chicago, but you can’t take Chicago out of the punk.
The latest refrain out of DC is that it’s all the fault of the insurance companies. This is clearly laying the groundwork to nationalize them and create full socialized medicine.
I disagree. We are nearing a full fledged dictatorship by the American Left. Completely unacceptable, and nearing pure chaos! This is how third world countries operate. God Help us!
Knowing full well what was coming down the pike, Guardian Ins got out of the Medical Ins business over 2 years ago. They had no desire to have these Marxist communists tell them how to run their business.
They instead focused on dental and vision care for employee benefits.
