What’s Really Obstructing Obamacare? GOP Resisters
The Daily Beast ^ | November 2, 2013 | Michael Tomasky

But I wonder how many Americans know the other side of the coin. There are already numerous success stories out there. And then there’s the side of the story that has certainly received coverage but not nearly as much as it deserves to, which is the way—did I say way? Ways—the Republican Party is trying to make sure it fails. Todd Purdum wrote a piece for Politico yesterday on the GOP’s “sabotage” of the law. It was a terrific article, but he didn’t say the half of it.

All across the country, Republican governors and insurance commissioners have actively and directly blocked efforts to make the law work....

---snip---

In West Virginia, Utah, Pennsylvania, and other states, grantees have said no thanks and returned the dough after statewide GOP elected officials started getting in their faces and asking lots of questions about how they operate and what they planned to do. Tennessee issued “emergency rules” requiring their employees to be fingerprinted and undergo background checks.

America, 2013: No background checks to buy assault weapons. But you damn well better not try to enroll someone in health care....

So many that there is no time to mention even one.

Fascists have a right to make up any "facts" they please.

Now, I don't care who you are, that's funny! The guy says it like it's something we should be ashamed of.

What a tool. Liberalism is indeed a mental disease.

If they ever do get enrollments moving, I wonder what the ratio of conservatives to liberals there will be in the system.

What happens when they find out that over 80% of successful applicants who have purchased a plan are democrats?

Will that $95.00 fine everyone else pays be enough to cover all the freeloaders in the system?

What happens when they find out that in addition to their 13k deductible, that their local hospital isn’t covered under their plan?

What happens when all of the Obamacare coverage providers (insurance companies) start dropping like flies next year?

What happens to the people who purchase a plan, and THEN lose their job, and THEN cannot make payments?

I have a feeling there will be a lot less health care coverage to go around than people can possibly imagine.

Guys, they’re on to us!
We would have gotten away with too, if it wasn’t for those pesky liberal internet posters.

Obamacare success story = Another new Medicaid enrollee, a guaranteed Democrat vote feeding at the public trough for life.

For every dubious "success story" there are 100,000 tales of horror and betrayal. Their odds suck and they should be made to choke on them. As for the future of Øblowmecare I'm happy to burn the entire thing to the ground rather than submit to their rule.

Actually, I believe that it is GOP “wreckers” that have caused KommiKare.gov to massively fail. While on the surface it seems unlikely that reactionary, anti-revolutionary GOP wreckers could have infiltrated the various branches of the U.S. government run by Obama and which are responsible for KommieKare, that really is the only possible explanation for the failure of KommieKare. It’s imperative that the U.S. Politburo root out these capitalist running-dogs and eradicate them once and for all. Only then can the good citizens receive the many benefits of government mandated insurance.

Todd Purdum wrote a piece for Politico yesterday on the GOP’s “sabotage” of the law...yeah, except now the story is getting around about how the Republicans saw this disastrous cutting of coverage caused by the law coming way back in 2010, and led by Senator Enzi attempted to pass a bill which would have actually grandfathered in existing policies so that no one would lose coverage - and 'rats voted it down in the Senate - that sabotage horse is about DOA.....

This idiot is delusional. This POS should be called the Affordable Medicaid Act or Obamacade. That’s what the vast majority of people are signing up for by a ratio of 9 out of 10 in some instances.

They thought Medicaid was insolvent before wait until you see it in a few months. This how they will get single-payer under the Medicaid tent.
