Only FOX is slightly watchable, the rest are so bad I repeat;

Accomplices, also known as shills, help manipulate the mark into accepting the perpetrator’s plan.

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is simply awful on Fox News Sunday this morning. Hope the White House puts him on all of the talk shows all of the time!

Similar here.

For years, I didn't have cable. In some TV markets, the evening news would be on the half-hour on one station and on the hour on another. So, I would watch 2 network news programs.

I noticed that they carried basically the same stories. The order may have varied, but some of their stories were nearly word-for-word.

Additionally, I noticed on slow news days that they would headline a recent poll they commissioned. [Of course, anyone with 2 working brain cells knows that polls can be manipulated to return a 'desired' result.]

Then, there were the infomercials disguised as 'news', usually for new medical/pharmaceutical offerings.

When I got cable in late 2002, I watched FoxNews day and evening. Over a short time, it got to be the same ole night after night -- same ole guests, same ole experts, same ole topics. I haven't watched the evening venue since the last election. I also turn it off after the morning headlines.

During the Anna Nicole Smith situation, FoxNews carried Breaking News and News Alerts every day, several times each hour. I counted the Alerts for 28 straight days. I turned FoxNews off after, except for the morning headlines, after that ridiculousness.

As you said, it is propaganda -- including FoxNews.

In their completely unquestioning support for Obamacare, the political Left and their lackeys in the MSM didn't realize there were GIGANTIC problems with its implementation, not only from the highly-botched website but also the fact the program ended up throwing too many people out of their current health insurance plans.

YOUR problem now, President Obama.

I have no interest in what any of these people except Rand Paul have to say. It is going to be more Marxism and go along to get along with the corruption.

Sorry I missed this Pat. I was going to comment but was commenting on some other stuff, too.

So sorry about your sticky haired cat. I had a dog like that once. Part cocker spaniel and something else. Had dread locks even. I just used to have to shear him like a sheep every other month or so. But as you said, they go to a better place. I do believe I’ll see all my critters in Heaven.

Now about the other shoe you see dropping. I’m not so sure. The democrats thought this was in the bag. It was the law! They won the shutdown, and the Republicans, led by the EVIL Cruz, lost. If they were that good that they could turn it off Obamacare on a dime, they’d never let this happen in the first place.

No, most democrat politicians are greedy, self-centered bastards. And stupid about a lot of things. They’re smart on getting elected but beyond that, they’re extremely arrogant and power hungry.

I can only pray that this will be their undoing.

Over-reach.

Stop blaming the media. It’s a sidebar distraction.

There is no "media" except for conservative talk shows and newspapers...and that is about to come under heavy assault. The RATagandists are easily identifiable by their actions and are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the DNC.

The main problem right now is we do not have an engaged opposition party to fight rampaging Alinskyite Dems.

Yeah we do, they are called TEApublicans, as there are no TEApartiers on the other side. They will drag the RINOs kicking and screaming into the fray, and either they will fight or get replaced.

All RINOs should be replaced anyway wherever possible.

what Rand Paul had to say

Shocker! Stephanopoulous was brutal to the guy from the Obama administration (Pfeiffer?) and threw softballs to Rand Paul. What happened at ABC?

Rand Paul did very well. I really like that Rand articulated that he and Ted Cruz don't have to agree on everything to work together. That's good, because those two together could probably write a platform that could win and improve things.

If only the RINOs would just slither away on their own.

Yes, those $^**&&^ scandals!

Chandra Levy & Gary Condit. Scott Peterson. Kobe Bryant. Anna Nicole Smith. Natalee Holloway. Elizabeth Smart. Michael Jackson. Trayvonn Martin.

Most of these stories are NOT news, but the modern equivalent of the Roman Bread and Circuses.

They can focus on them all they want, ‘cause my TV will be OFF.

True but we are talking Red Hampster.

I was stationed up at Cape Cod (Otis AFB) back in the late 70’s, early 80’s, and back then New Hampshire was solidly Republican. Now they’re just a Masshole mecca.

I predict Ayotte will lose her next election, and be replaced by a democrat; probably that fat Janet Napalitano looking-lesbian Jean Shaheen... No wait, she’s already there! Well, pick another.

Red Hampster is dead to the conservative world. Here’s hoping your state o’ Maine can take the torch, but Massholes are poised for invasion!

Gregor MacGregor—Upon his return to England in 1820, he claimed to be cacique(political boss) of Poyais, a fictional Central American country that MacGregor had invented which, with his help, drew investors and eventually colonists.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregor_MacGregor

In August, MacGregor published a new constitution of Poyais; he had changed it into a republic with himself as the head of state. On August 18, 1825 he issued a £300,000 loan with 2.5% interest, through the London bank of Thomas Jenkins & Company. The bond was probably never issued. At the same time, la Nouvelle Neustrie recruited settlers to buy FFr100 worth of shares each.

When French officials noticed that a number of people had obtained passports in order to voyage to a country they had never heard of, they seized the la Nouvelle Neustrie vessel in Le Havre. The would-be-emigrants demanded an investigation; Hippisley was arrested, but MacGregor was nowhere to be found.
