As Egypt’s new military-led government consolidates its power, Mohamed Morsi, the deposed president, went on trial on Monday, facing charges of inciting the murder of protesters, but he rejected the court’s authority and proclaimed himself to be the country’s legitimate ruler.
According to the website of Al Ahram, Egypt’s flagship state newspaper, the trial got under way as Mr. Morsi and 14 other Islamist defendants appeared in a caged dock and court officials called out their names. But news reports said the hearing was first delayed and then suspended after Mr. Morsi refused to dress in prison clothing and chants by his co-defendants drowned out the proceedings.

The problem in this mess is that he actually was elected into the job, and the Constitution that existed at the time......didn’t have an ‘fix-it’ solution in it. He’s going to continually bring this up...hour after hour...and the judges will eventually question the mess.
Surprised they haven’t already.

Morsi is accused of stirring up the violence that killed so many people. I read earlier that at trial it would be shown that Barack Obama’s regime was directly involved with Morsi to stir up that violence, and that part of the deal between Morsi and Obama was to allow Hamas to take over the area of Egypt closest to Israel - which the Egyptians have rightly called an act of war against Egypt itself. This isn’t about the overthrow of Morsi but about Morsi (and Obama) committing acts of war against Egypt. The Egyptians can’t do anything about Obama but they can do something about Morsi, and that’s what this trial is about. If I’m understanding correctly.

If he implicates Team Barry, especially Hillary in their finance of criminal Muslim Brotherhood and details of Benghazi where MB were present, possibly for purpose of taking Stevens hostage in exchange for the Blind Sheik, let him LIVE! Dead men tell no tales. I want Team Barry/Hillary OUTED for helping the terrorists to take over Egypt.
Bring all the families of those he had murdered to a large walled in courtyard that has a big pile of rocks and another pile of worn out boots and shoes then shove him in and lock the gates for an hour or two.

One of Obama’s “experts” at Department of Homeland (in)Security tweeted that the US is an Islamic country.
Once around 8% of the population is Muslim, those Muslims are required to begin the push/slide towards Islamization ultimately leading to sharia, which is an enemy of the US Constitution which guarantees equality under the law and freedom of religion. At that point Islam ceases to be a religion and becomes full-out treason.
Until that point Islam CAN be a religion; after that point it becomes treason. So in the interest of allowing Muslims in the US to practice a RELIGION we have to keep their population to below around 8%. I believe that needs to be the policy in every free country on the globe. The rates of breeding, legal and illegal immigration, and conversion to Islam need to be carefully tracked to adjust whatever must be adjusted and keep the percentage where it needs to be in order for their “religion” to be a religion and not treason.
I do believe in freedom of religion. When a religion has as its philosophy the actual killing of everybody else it is not a religion but a crime. If there are “moderate Muslims” they would agree with this policy. The largest killer of Muslims is other Muslims adhering to sharia.

10% is when legal moves are mandatory, from what I understand. Usually the “softening” of the system - making cultural demands that prepare the way for legal rulings, etc - begins at around 8%.
A lot of Muslims are nominal Muslims, which I think is what is meant by “moderate Muslims”. (Part of the reason I say that is because Prince Charles gathered leaders who claimed to be “moderate” Muslims but when he asked them to condemn the teaching that infidels are to be executed, not one of them would. Part of that could be because they fear retaliation, or it could be because that is just a central, irrefutable teaching of Islam.) Those who have left Islam say that the best way to get people to leave Islam is to get them to actually read their scriptures.
4th of July this year helped me understand the whole concept of “cultural” Muslims/Christians/Americans. I realized we don’t have America any more, for all sakes and purposes, and yet the desire is there, to shoot off the fireworks and eat some weiners and smores while wearing red, white, and blue. It’s sort of wishing that things were the way you once believed they were even though you know it’s not real. I think that’s where a lot of Muslims and a lot of “Christians” are. They want the “feel-good” trappings of the belief system even though they’re scared to really dig through whether it is all true and good.
There is “religion” that just involves the trappings. Saying a prayer 7 times a day, observing Ramadan, visiting Mecca... It’s similar to those who say the Our Father and then go out and sleep with whoever they want to. Sort of like the “Catholics” that are portrayed on the whodunnit shows like Bones or Law & Order: SVU. And every religion has those people. The difference between Christianity and Islam seems to be that those who take Christianity seriously become better people for it, and those who take Islam seriously become murderous thugs, or excuse and/or support murderous thugs. And to be truthful, I think just about every religion has a time when it is murderous, when it becomes more about power than about God. That’s the fallen nature. Absolute power corrupts absolutely - in religion as well as politics. When religion becomes a means to power it necessarily means that the power end of it will enslave the person wrapped up in power.
I would not want to live in any Muslim country, if I had any say in the matter. But the softening is already happening in the US, and what Obama’s buddies said about “Arab Spring” WILL happen unless Americans wake up and actually do something: Arab Spring will come to America. Obama is making sure all the foundations are laid for it to happen here. And the fact that one of his appointed “experts” at DHS is willing to call America a Muslim country out loud in a tweet... is one of the scariest things I’ve heard. Of course, Obama’s Egypt speech in 2008 paved the way for this, as have all his other actions.
So I guess I’d say I mostly agree with what you said. For those “cultural Muslims” there may yet be hope that they will convert out of Islam, but that window is closing quickly.
