MAybe I’m being cynical but the more chaos in Libya he higher oil prices go. Russia is the largest oil producer in the world.

We exceed Russia in reserves. All oil producers want to see higher oil prices but when it comes at the expence when it becomes unafforadable. It does them little or no good and there are too many producers around including US nobody makes money. Our restrictive energy policies have raised the prices of a comoditity we have pleanty of and it’s been done by design.

But that has nothing with what the Russians are warning about. They have no control over the situation they’re running to the UN about.
