I learn from past which is why I was skeptical then (proved right) and am again now.
2011 saw no end of make believe GOP candidates totting out to get attention, all leading to the easily predictable disaster.
What I want to see is someone who can demonstrate that they can kick the crap out of Dems and BEAT them, not just make speeches, not quit, not blame others....someone who gets results.
That person will beat the GOPe candidate and a good shot at beating Hillary, not more wishful thinking.
My questions were posed prior to yours, correct?
Not here. Here Sarah was the nominee(with way too many) , till the floor fell out Oct 2011.
WTF???
Read post #267. There are 2 questions which you have failed to answer.
It's not about what you want.....it's about ‘who knows how’ to maneuver the potholes and landmines that they will assuredly be setting...and play there own game against them. If you don't 'know their game' then you can't win....no matter how good you might be at kicking butt. Those who know their game and can play it you won't always get to see their moves or understand the ones you do see.....Cruz thinks things through....but he cannot do it alone, just as he and Sarah both have said. They need the support we can give them...I intend to do that...I hope you will too.
If they committed crimes that's where they should go. Just because she happened to be governor at the time does not mean she would be a good president.
There was no "tax." It was essentially a land use fee based on the going price of oil, and the land belongs to Alaskans.
Pure spin. It's a tax, every bit as much as the gas taxes you pay. Worse, it was retroactive. I'll bet you liked that too.
That's a state's thing, Alaska alone is about one quarter the size of the continental US. I guess you think oil companies shouldn't have to pay to use that land? Or that if it does, it should go to the politicians?
I do think that oil companies should pay landowners for mineral rights, but I do not believe in government ownership of land. I guess you believe in State ownership of land, which is the essence of socialism sonny.
Sheesh. Just because you liked the deal does not make Palin a principled conservative, in this instance, quite the contrary.
This is why Cruz can manuver Washington....and why Sarah supports him....and puts him at the top of the list....he knows political law and otherwise....and he fully stands on the Constitution and knows what it is and means......
Thanks to 2nd Division Vet for this brief:
“Cruz was only the primary editor of the law review at Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude....... and was founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review, the Attorney General of our largest contiguous state,...... and served as a law clerk to J. Michael Luttig of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and William Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States in 1996.... as the first Hispanic ever to clerk for a Chief Justice of the United States..... and assembled the Bush legal team,... devised strategy,..... and drafted pleadings for filing with the Supreme Court of Florida and U.S. Supreme Court, the specific case being Bush v. Gore, during the 2000 Florida presidential recounts, ....leading to two successful decisions for the Bush team.”
Cruz is perhaps the most intellectually gifted conservative I have seen in my lifetime (to take nothing from Reagan). That does not mean I believe him to be knowledgeable on every issue. Palin has the ability, but clearly not the education, nor did she take the time to correct that deficit when she had the opportunity, unlike Reagan who toured the nation while with GE learning how manufacturing really works. Empty platitudes are not enough.
I'd as soon not be fooled by a crap-spewing sour-grapes imbecile.
Stoopit fargin bastidge. Go molest your gerbil.
;-\
Let's be serious. Santorum and Gingrich had no chance for the nomination.
I have said for years that I don’t even think she can carry AK for President.
Stoopit fargin bastidge. Go molest your gerbil.

Why bother writing, when you can just slam your head on the keyboard between beers, right?
LOL!
