'Purge surge': Obama fires another commander
World Net Daily ^ | F. Michael Maloof

After multiple top generals described to WND what they regard as a full-scale “purge” of the U.S. military by the Obama administration, the commander of U.S. Army Garrison Japan was summarily relieved of duty and his civilian deputy reassigned, pending a “misconduct” investigation.

Nine generals and flag officers have been relieved of duty under Obama just this year – widely viewed as an extraordinary number – and several sources put the total number of senior officers purged during the five years of the Obama administration as close to 200.

In response, prominent retired generals – ranging from Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, a Fox News senior military analyst, to Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, a founder of the Army’s elite Delta Force, to Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Gen. Patrick Henry Brady – have all gone on the record with WND, characterizing Obama’s actions as nothing less than an all-out attack on America’s armed forces.

According to U.S. Army Japan, Col. Eric Tilley was suspended from his job by Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer Sr., commander of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) for a “lack of confidence” based on the results of an inquiry.

A spokesman for U.S. Army Japan, Maj. Kevin Toner, would not elaborate on what prompted a “lack of confidence,” saying it would be “inappropriate to make public the allegations because the investigation did not lead to findings of criminal misconduct.”

Tilley is to be replaced by Col. Joy Curriera.

Has NSA been given orders to snoop on all military leaders - maybe from O-5 and up??

Using NSA for political purposes would be something Obama and his minions would jump into with both feet. That is their style!!

Hate to say it, but once we rid ourselves of this worthless Nazi dictator a new conservative president will be forced to fire the JCS and the dicklickers obama appoints to the various commands. Bush should have done this when he first took over from clinton.

I’m pretty sure a mid-level Roman functionary will join us to assure us this is perfectly normal and nothing for us to worry our pretty little heads over.

Relieving an O-6 isn't a very effective way of purging the military. Over the summer there was some kind of ugly investigation regarding sexual harassment/assault of a civilian employee, by an officer on the base. There were allegations of repraisals and protection of the offender by a two star associated with the base. That two star (member of a protected group) was suspended for the course of the investigation.

In situation like this, a base CO being collateral damage (rightfully or not) in this situation is not a surprise. Not a purge.

Colonels don’t count. This may come as a surprise to many, but Generals and Colonels get fired all the time. Not in large numbers, but when they screw up, especially on the personal conduct side, there is a price to pay. That’s one reason why the military is held in high regard, the bad apples are pulled from the tree. It’s also done by the military itself - the political appointees don’t get involved as a rule until you get to 3-star level. There are always exceptions, but this one is certainly below the radar screen of the bozos in Washington.

My sources tell me that people are getting shoved aside or threatened if they don’t toe the political lines. The problem is that almost all are doing what they are told. No one is speaking out or resigning in protest. That’s the real problem.

Stalin and Pol Pot did the same thing, except they killed the officers and their families. What it means is that the American military has lost its expertise. We will get creamed real bad in future engagements.

Generals who are against homos in the military and who refuse to fire upon civilians will not be tolerated. Only yes-men who will follow Der Fuherer’s command to institute the coming martial law will be allowed to remain.

hate to say it but Zero's moves are to make sure there will not be another CONSERVATIVE around to take office...these moves are to insure the commies STAY in power. We are about to make the transition from socialist nation to a communist one...all it takes are the sharp points of bayonets....guess who is consolidating his grasp of the bayonets.

Someone named Eric replaced by someone named Joy.

More chicks in charge. Soon all the problems in the military will be solved, just like they were after chickifying Congress with such sterling reps as pelosi, boxer, feinstein, mikulski, collins, snowe, et al.

Can’t wait until the SEALs are introduced to chick-first affirmative action.
