Asked by The Wall Street Journal if she had any stories about her father she wished to share, 22-year-old Kathryn Lhota, daughter of New York City mayoral candidate Joe Lhota, praised his taste in footwear.
The guy has an amazing sense of womens shoes. I will say 80% of my shoes come from my dad, and I cant wait for Christmas. And my birthday. My dad runs the gamut with shoes: high heels, boots, flats, slingbacks, everything. And he knows; he has a sense. He really has a gift.
For those following the first-daughter race, Kathryns signature accessory her answer to Chiara de Blasios flower crown, if you will is a Kate Spade bag that says Eat cake for breakfast.
Lhota is pretty much a big RINO destined to lose big to the ultraleft Bill De Blasio. De Blasio is "the white Obama" constantly pandering to African-American voters by placing his biracial teenage children, the son with an Afro hairdo and the daughter with a huge headband, up front and center in his campaign advertising.
Don’t forget to blame New Yorkers, themselves, who seem to have a death wish. They can’t stand prosperity. Their city is prosperous, and relatively safe. I expect that they will soon be whining that they need another federal bailout.
I don't know that I'd call NYC prosperous, overall, but it is relatively safe compared a number of other large cities, especially Detroit and Chicago.
De Blasio has run a campaign exploiting the discontent and resentment of the masses, just like an ultraleftist would be expected to do. Raise the taxes on the wealthy to par for after-school centers is one of the cornerstones of his campaign. One of the main reasons why this kind of garbage is so politically successful is the transiency and historical ignorance of much of the population, which has no recollection of the Dinkins era (1990-1993) when crime was rampant and leftist policies were in. De Blasio was actually part of that Dinkins Administration, but any recall of that time and mention of the name "Dinkins" by Lhota was reflexively dismissed as "racist."
If the masses fall for it, they are to blame for what happens to them. If New York reverts to 1989, when the place was nearly unbearable, I don’t want to hear them begging for a bailout.
