I saw this a couple of weeks ago. It’s not clear to me that it is targeting. What is clear is that in general liberal states rates were much, much higher than states with more conservative tendencies...so as befits socialism, they spread the misery.

Of course it does. The Hicks in the Sticks need to be Pavlov Trained to shut-up and support the Regime for their own good.

I fully believe the full intent of all his policies is to punish and harm politically opposed demographics.
They knew who would be harmed and who would benefit.

I’ve gotten trashed on here for saying it, but I think most Obama voters skate on Obamacare.
Waivers, subsidies, and medicaid.
The Chicago mob perfected rewarding friends and screwing enemies.
This story is another indication in my view.

Oh, I’m sure it sweetens the pot....but it’s more making Virginia plans just as outrageous as NY plans than it is making Virginia plans cost more in absolute terms. ...and NY prices on a Virginia cost of living scale certainly hurts more.

Where are the Red State governors? Great question. Why weren't they ALL front and center campaigning for Ken Cuccinelli, too? Maybe some did, but I've not seen their assistance/stumping being reported.

Because the GOPe and the RATS (officially same species since Murkowski v. Miller AK) have successfully defined TEA as evil in the minds they’ve gotten into.
It’s probably a good thing, when it all shakes out.

The headline is correct. The lead sentence is wrong.
Premiums will not be higher in red states -- they will be much the same as everywhere else. But the increases in premiums will be greater because blue states already had over-regulated insurance markets with higher premiums.
There's enough to be angry about without making stuff up.
