I would be delighted if we deleted party affiliation from all ballots, encouraging people to vote for ideas and records of accomplishment, not parties.

As a poll watcher, I've said for years that we need to remove the party from the ballot. People go in to vote and vote party line every time without a concern for the issues, and we're left with the situation we're in now.

If they simply removed those single letters, our nation would be FORCED to know for whom they vote.

Agreed, it would be a huge step in the right direction. Probably would eliminate a lot of low info voters because they’re too lazy to inform themselves.

Ain't that the truth. I really good friend of mine who happens to be black is a perfect example. Pro-2nd Amendment, check. Anti-abortion, check. Anti-big government, check. Fiscal conservative, check. Pro- traditional family, check. Anti-immigration amnesty, check. Votes democrat, check. Why? Because everyone in his family is a democrat and that's the way he was raised.
