It's not easy to teach young people respect for authority.
This generation may be no worse than previous ones but cops are less prone to tolerate threats because this is becoming a more dangerous environment; mental patients with guns are sprouting like mushrooms.

Respect authority if authority deserves it.
Lately, there’s a lot of people in those positions that deserve NO respect and it appears to be getting worse.

Giving up freedom is a violent, and chaotic change. It’s a symptom of the liberal government. Everyone has their breaking point.
People with maybe slight depression, or past trauma just cannot take it anymore. So people are going nuts. Just wait till they try to take the guns.

Actually its becoming less dangerous except in a few very specific location.

It's certainly more dangerous to be a citizen or a dog, but I really don't see a lot of news stories about cops dying in the streets. Sorry, but being a cop isn't a particularly dangerous job. If you want real danger, try being a pizza deliveryman, or a cab driver.
The most dangerous place for a cop to be is standing beside the road collecting taxes for the police state. Not because anyone particularly targets them, but because accidents happen.

mental patients with guns are sprouting like mushrooms. The young man was not armed.
According to the article, the truck was stopped after colliding with a tree when he was shot to death.
