Probably true.
From the New Jersey exit poll on Tuesday:
“Who would be the best President?”
Hillary Clinton - 48%
Chris Christie - 44%
No thanks. I don’t need another Obama hugger.
If that punk moves into the White House in 2017, he’ll have done it WITHOUT my vote.
Trust me, even if he is given a Republican House and Senate, he’ll govern as a left-tard.
He’ll make deals with the left and ignore the base of the Republican party.
No. To. Christie.
Dole was better than McCain.
Romney was better than Dole.
Romney was better than McCain.
Romney was better than Christie.
Christie is better than McCain.
Christie is better than Dole.
I still won’t vote for Christie.
Those are my opinions.
That barf burger RINO has no chance to get the GOP nomination. What conservative would vote for him? I’d just as soon let the Hildebeast win and get on with the 1776 solution.
NAFCIH: Not a F*ing Chance in Hell!
If I were you, I would move and not try to give us all advice on voting for RINOs. I took your advice and voted for McCain and McCain 2. I won't do it again, that is why we keep getting these loser RINOs because we hold our noses and vote for them. I am telling the RNC early enough that I won't vote for their eRINOs ever a-freakin' gain.
Is Christie the One?
Plant
We have NO chance to take over the Senate in 2014.
We had some chance in 2010 because large numbers of Black and Hispanic voters stayed home.
The Democrat Party will NEVER let that happen again.
Example - In Texas, the DNC began organizing for 2014 Hispanic turnout just a few weeks after the 2012 campaign ended.
Most important - America creates 1 million new citizens each year.
800,000 of them will support the Democrat Party.
I think 2014 might be the year that Conservatives first realize how much damage Legal Immigration has done to our political system.
I think we will lose the House in 2014.
If not, it will only be because hatred of ObamaCare saved our small - and completely useless - majority.
OK, you’re disgusted with where Christie is right now.
So to what do you look for goodness?
If the answer is a bunch of policies and abstractions, you are WAY off.
It needs to be GOD. Straight, full-on, intense GOD.
So far the only Republicans that have demonstrated any leadership at all (and now name recognition) are Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. The GOPee RINO Establishment must go the way of the Whig Party.
I see you factor out the spiritual factor. Bush was a relatively serious Christian. That can’t be said about the wannabes.
Now the fascinating thing about being Christian is that this can change. And God can well see ahead to anticipate this.
Don’t worry about stomping on the weak ones. We are in a world of 90% negativism and the consequences show. Boost the strong ones. Let them outclass the weak ones.
Christie will have to run on a platform of knowing how to succeed, which puts Clinton at a disadvantage, since her list of accomplishments is meager, if not nonexistent.
The media doesnt care anything about accomplishments; just look at the 2012 election. Hillary will win, because the MSM will paint the Repubs as anti-women, and the women will want to be on that bandwagon that elects the first woman US president, even tho she has no real accomplishments: what does it matter.
Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Sarah Palin fit the bill and they have been savaged. I would vote for these heroes in a heart beat. Squishes — Quislings like McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, and a host of others can roast in Hades.
I will not vote for Christie, not in the primary and not in the general election if he is the nominee. I’ll vote 3rd party or stay home. Christie would be an improvement over the Hildebeast, but not by much - at least he seems like a competent executive.
God does not wish anyone to roast in Hades so why should we?
This is to shuck off the love that the Lord has commanded us to carry.
We should be looking not just for believers but converts. If Christie could be, Christie should be approached. If the Democrat party manages to commit suicide, as Obamacare makes it very likely to happen, the GOP will need as many hands on board as it can get, and if we were not indulging our hatred wishing them to Hades, we could get the many more “stout hearted men.” Holding grudges is self sabotaging in God’s economy.
Oh, there is so much more than voting that can be done in the political cycle and much of it is spiritual.
Winning Christie over to saner positions in preference to pouring vitriol upon him could pan out to be a plus in the long run.
You sure this is Cal Thomas? Somebody stole his spine.
Good intentions do not matter; it is the deeds that count. They are doing great harm to the innocent and they do NOT care. The “progressives” on both the Left and Right gave up God long ago. Yes, they might repent, but they merely pay lip service to the Almighty. They believe they’re gods unto themselves. Nice sounding words and good intentions pave the road to Hades. These fools have chosen unwisely. True “progressive” believers will lie, but they aren’t going to change. To believe otherwise is to be duped by false messiahs preaching a utopia on Earth.
