For the MSM, any excuse is good to push for ever-bigger government . . .
Take today's Good Morning America. ABC used a run-of-the-mill bank robbery story to blame a national increase in violent crime on "a lack of federal funding."

Gotta be the fault of those eee-vil Republicans! Ping to Today show list.
ABC’s mendacity would be laughable — were it not so frightening.
Generation Feral is feeling good about being bad.
I’m sure more money out of my pocket is the answer. More “programs” always fix what ails us, right?
We’re rocketing towards a $20 trillion debt. I’d say we have spent enough.
I blame Obama and the people who vote for Obama because I am sure, if you look at the stats, that there is a correlation between the two.
So, I guess we’re just imagining all of these various law enforcement agencies all across the country up-gunning with military equipment, armored urban warfare vehicles, and, drones? Ya know, things that cost lots of money. Lots of money.
#1 reason for violent crime increase is refusal to deal with Black Ku Klux Klan and other ethnic Ku Klux Klan racism...especially not holding ethnic groups responsible for the problems in their communities
White Guilt Liberalism also is a big factor.
I BLAME IT ON OBAMA AND HOLDER..AND THE SO CALLED MEDIA..
ABC couldn’t have done this alone. Who was the lamebrain talking head?
What was that post last week, about some “journalist’s” association sending out a memo to Big Media, telling them not to report any mention of the Black Crime Wave?
It is real simple lib lurkers. Criminals, especially violent bullies that are actually cowards, hate armed victims. Take away that fear, and they act out more.
You know removing God from society, embracing homosexuality and making marriage between them, forcing Christians to pay for abortions, and the rampant immorality in our nation which is embraced by our current administration has absolutely nothing to do with it. BUT money can fix anything! Ask Baraq Hussein Obama, professional fund raiser who is good at getting whatever he wants by lying to the low-info idiot voters who approve of him even though he’s raping them with the ACA...

ABC must not know that we have a national debt of over $17 TRILLION, with unfunded liabilities of over $100 TRILLION, and this is far, far more than the wealth on planet earth. Shame on them for their abysmal ignorance of reality. And they call themselves a “news organization”?
What we have in the US is a morals deficit encouraged by the secularists in our society, which is even more deadly than a financial deficit. When God removes His blessing from a nation, it is doomed. Check out Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible.

The federal government raked in a record of approximately $2,472,542,000,000 in tax revenues through the first eleven months of fiscal 2013, which ran from Oct. 1, 2012 through the end of August, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement for August.
Yeah, our crime problem definitely stems from the fact that schlubs like us simply aren't sending enough to Fedzilla.
If ONLY those in charge had more power over the productive few, all would be well.
Going back to the start of the War on Poverty in the ‘60s, we have spent many trillions on various anti-poverty programs.
But poverty is as pervasive as ever.
Why are liberals never called out on the failures of their policies? The war on poverty was an abject failure. Yet, nobody, not even Republicans, ever calls out the Democrats and liberals for the failures.
