It would be interesting to get those statistics broken down by states, maybe even at the county level. See if there is any correlation between violent crime rates and gun control. In other places and times such a correlation has been shown to exist. So now we have relatively populace areas such as New York with more restrictive gun laws. My theory is that these places are pushing up the national averages.

It is real simple lib lurkers. Criminals, especially violent bullies that are actually cowards, hate armed victims. Take away that fear, and they act out more.

$2,472,542,000,000: Record Taxation Through August

The federal government raked in a record of approximately $2,472,542,000,000 in tax revenues through the first eleven months of fiscal 2013, which ran from Oct. 1, 2012 through the end of August, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement for August.

But poverty is as pervasive as ever.

Why are liberals never called out on the failures of their policies? The war on poverty was an abject failure. Yet, nobody, not even Republicans, ever calls out the Democrats and liberals for the failures.
