Newly re-elected New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie stepped firmly into the national spotlight Sunday, appearing on multiple news programs to combat criticism from some Republicans he is too moderate for national office and to take a swipe at President Barack Obama’s health-care law.

Tubby can fight criticism all he wants to. The truth is that under his governorship New Jerseyites have watched their property taxes skyrocket. The average citizen has seen absolute NO reduction in any tax.

Chrissie was the first governor to opose Obamacare. Oh wait Chrissie was the worm that kissed Obama butt after hurricane Sandy. My bad.
I can see how Christy convinces the lefties in NJ, but it won't work nationally for 2016. However, it is a winning formula year-after-year for John McCain - lie to your constituents about your conservatism and return to your backstabbing ways after re-election. What I don't understand are the simpleton rubes John McCain continues to convince in AZ election after election.
Funny....we’ve never seen a photo of Ted Cruz nuzzling Obama. Or was Christie just doing that for cash? There’s a word for that, and it isn’t “conservative.”

Don't underestimate McCain's carefully cultivated "war hero" persona. A lot of retired veterans live here and too many fall for it, especially when he starts talking tough. They don't look too critically at his actual policy positions.
That's one area where Christie has actually done very well, in terms of putting responsibility directly on those who are truly responsible.
Judging by the size of him, the only thing he’s moderate in is self-control.
I wish that guy would just go away but I know he will rammed down the throats of republicans for 16.And he will be set up to lose. Anybody else see a pattern here?

its been funny watching the MSM twister game on Christie. Propping him up while rying to convince us conservatives that he REALLY IS conservative. They know what will happen if Christie wins the nomination....droves of conservative republicans will stay home...
