The Boston Globe has a look back at Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz‘s three years as a student at Harvard Law from 1992 to 1995. It turns out largely unremarkable, as Cruz seems to be the exact same person then that he is today. But there were two curious anecdotes worth note.

Reportedly the DU choice for "Obama's Third Term"

I certainly hope she wins the nomination...

I really don’t know...

If she gets the full Obama crew (Axlegrease, Gibbs, Plouffy, etc) remember they re-elected a guy with 8% unemployment, $4 gas, surging food prices, and trillion dollar deficits to the horizon. Something I viewed as a 1 in a 1000 probability.

The only person I would add is Governor Scott Walker. I think, being a governor, he has more Exec experience for POTUS, more so than Ted. Ted would be excellent as VP, then run on his own merits later on.

Just my 02.

The problem with Walker, and it is a killer of a problem, is that he is all-in for Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Anyone spouting support for this should not be within a thousand miles of the POTUS chair, EVER!

“...he is all-in for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. ...”

Hadn’t realized that. Will have to do some more research on him. Thank you for the info.

Actually Carter was a one term President but to separate a President tenure isn’t fair. Carter administration economic policies were an inflation calamity. It took Ronald Reagan to straighten the mess out

“He came in with his right hand raised and basically kept it raised the entire semester,” said Alan Dershowitz, who taught Cruz in a first-year criminal law class. “Every year you see two or three students who you know are natural leaders. Everybody saw that with Barack Obama . . . Everybody saw that with Elena Kagan. There are students who come in with charismatic qualities who other people follow. He was one of them.”

Dershowitz here includes Ted Cruz with those who are natural leaders.

In another place, he's quoted saying that Cruz was "off the charts brilliant."

Cruz says he was young once and did some dumb _hit. Didn't we all.

If this is the best they got as a hit piece, then it's not very much.
