Christie can make one claim that most Democrat governors can not: While New Jersey is no better off since he took office, at least it is no worse off either.

Don't you think that would make a winning presidential slogan? < / sarcasm >

No way in hell.

If you thought Dole was a non-starter, McCain was a windbag and Romney a loser...Just wait until this blimp gets off the ground.

Republicans have been running on a slogan of “We Suck Less” for years....how is that working out for them?

We should let the liberal media select our next Presidential nominee. What could go wrong?

This RINO looks like he’s got more skeletons in his closet than a cemetery. As soon as he takes the nomination, they’ll march every last one of them out.

If he is the nominee I will vote for the Constitution Party Candidate. That will send a definite message that I am conservative and am done with voting for RINOs.

I watched a couple of hours of Fox News this weekend as I was wasn’t feeling well and just wanted to lay on the couch and watch TV. The GOP should just cancel their primaries. Britt Hume, George Will, Juan Williams, Paul Gigot et al ahve coronated Christie and have declared him unbeatable.

George Will on FOX Sunday went over the math of the tremendous electoral lock the RATs have with the NE. This means RATS can focus all its attention on three states. If Christie can flip one NE state, it puts the Rats on their heels.

Mathematically, I agree, but I thought the NE flip was the Romney argument. And when we learned he could not carry his home state of Massachusetts, the idea was that since we was from the NE he'd play better with independents and swing states.

Also, the elites went into the NJ to help Christie get Hispanic and Black votes. This was to set him up as a more appealing candidate. GW did in Texas in 1998- made a play with Blacks and Hispanics for the Governor race. He did pretty good but in the national election in 2000 his results with minorities was about the same as other previous GOP contenders.

“The morning of his re-election, Christie told a CNN news anchor that he is a conservative.” Ah, let’s see... Hitler declared himself a Christian, Obama has declared himself a Christian, and now Christie declares himself a conservative. Why of course everyone believes the statements of politicians over their actual voting records, right?

Yep...plus exit polling on election day showed that even though Christie won NJ 60-40...those numbers would flip (nearly) if he went head to head against Hillary.

Democrats were willing to vote for him for Gov but they'll never abandon the 'gimme something for free' party in 2016!

Yeah, I know, I saw it too. It was sickening

First of all it is way to early to think about the 2016 presidential election and the way he carried on with that arrogant, lazy, lying pos occupant of the Spite House, he's lucky if he'll get 10,000 votes countrywide in the primaries.

We need to concentrate on the midterm election first

I don’t want another election where I have to vote for the lesser of two evils.

“If Christie genuinely moves to the right, as Reagan did, and Romney would have done if elected, only then should conservatives even begin to consider him as an acceptable candidate.” Here is the money statement. Well Kaslin, wouldn’t it be a little late at that point? And... do you really believe Romney would have “moved to the right” after he was elected? Where is the barf alert for this article?

It is the liberals and the lame stream media who are trying to tell the GOP he is the man.

We must make it clear to the GOP TO FORGET IT

I am sure he used to be a conservative, but he switched over to being a RINO after this
