Iran's deputy industry minister shot dead
The Telegraph ^ | November 11, 2013 | Reuters

An unidentified attacker has shot dead an Iranian deputy minister of industry in Tehran, the state news agency IRNA reported, in what appeared the first reported killing of a senior central government official in years.

Safdar Rahmat Abadi was shot in the head and chest as he got into his car in the east of the capital, IRNA said, quoting witnesses as saying the attack occurred at about 7:50 p.m. (1620 GMT).

"Investigations show that two shots were fired from inside the vehicle," the agency quoted a police official as saying.

"That two shells were found inside the car shows a strong likelihood that the assailant was inside the car and in conversation with Mr Abadi. There was no sign of struggle at the scene of the killing."

“-—no sign of a struggle” ?? I’m going with the two bullet holes just indicating a severe disagreement. Maybe the difference is the central gov’t official part but aren’t the Iranians also missing a few nuclear geniuses in recent times? Shot him right in the Shiite, you say?

There was no sign of struggle at the scene of the killing.

You mean, besides the dead body?

Im not seeing how that would work as the shots were vertically aligned rather than horizontally. Perhaps female Mossad agents are ‘configured’ differently?? Im not sure Id want to know if they were...

What? Is this some kind of newfangled pig-latin?
If you mean we're up the creek without a paddle, okay, we can understand that sort of concept.

LOL, no. It comes from the Bible, Daniel chapter 5. I think this is also where we get the term, the handwriting on the wall, as a hand wrote on the wall, mene mene tekel upharsin, you have been weighed in the balances and found wanting. That night the Babylonian Empire fell, and the King was killed.

LOL. ROTF! Come on. You've got to be kidding to think I wasn't aware of in what regard you were referring to. I would think you'd give me only a miniscule more credit than that. I was actually only being the slightest bit derisive by feigning ignorance. I was poking fun at the way you two were communicating with each other as if you were the only posters on the thread while us hicks scratching our collective heads wondering what the gooblygook was all about the way these two savants were speaking in a language only MENSA members could converse in, while I was trying very hard to avoid using the world pompous.

But seriously, it was all in tongue-in-cheek good humor.

Yep, I should have been able to figure it out on my own.

I can't put my finger on it but something tells me you're involved in aviation in some form or another.

You have my utmost admiration for the service you’ve performed in duty to our country. Have you flown in the capacity as USAF pilot? I would love to show you something that you’d find most interesting regarding my new web site, called “The Wright Stuff” that will be going on line within a week. I take it for granted that you are cognizant of the play on words in my web site title with the “Right Stuff” written by Tom Wolfe, made into a movie about the aviation flyboys who became the original seven astronauts. I’ve already showed it to several veteran pilots and they were quite impressed. Please let me know if, when you have a some free time.

Yes, that would be nice to see, but I was a controller, not a pilot.

Makes no difference. This is an amazing bit of technology where you can see images in full 360 degree panorama. It is absolutely mind-boggling to see the astronauts on the moon in the full sweep of a panorama. A very good illustration would be the video of the application on my YouTube channel where you can view the cockpit of the Airbus 380 in every single direction zoom in/ out up down/around

If you feel comfortable downloading these programs then you'll be absolutely amazed at what you'll see. I've got over 200 different cockpits from aircraft since WW2 and especially my favorite the SR-71 which works exactly like the You Tube video.

You need to download the link below and QTVR (Quick Time Virtual Reality) software from Apple already included in the Quick Time download. Once you've downloaded the software let me know and I'll send you any aircraft you request. B-36, B-25, Mustang P-51 The Best and the greatest SR-71 cockpit.
