“would you support raising the minimum wage to 9 dollars?” most would say “hell ya!!”
Now.. if you ask it correctly..
“Would you support raising the minimum wage to 9 dollars if it resulted in higher prices at fast food establishments and other retailers as well as job losses for those trying to get a foot hold in the job market?”
That question will likely get you a “hell no!”
The problem is that most people don’t understand the ramifications of the increased minimum wage. So it sounds like the right thing to do.
Not sure why I was thinking about minimum wage during my shower this morning...
It’s more proof that Americans are failing each other by failing to teach and understand Econ 101. I wish I would have had Econ in high school. It really was such an eye-opener when I finally got it in college and was one of the influential factors in solidifying my conservative views.

Minimum wage has been around for numerous decades and we still have jobs. In fact, I find it hilarious that people say that jobs aren’t around. Business are dire need for help. The sky is falling is so stupid for the democrats to use.
