The people in the individual states should choose their nominees and then the parties should get behind them.
But aristocrats do not like the people getting involved in choosing the members of their clubs. They want to pick who the nominees will be so that the people will be fooled into thinking they actually have a choice.
Do they have Open Primaries?
Make sure the press is there.
Y'can't do any worse than the rat hating you now as it is .. right ?
Is this Baucus' seat? If so, should be vulnerable to GOP takeover.
Truth be told, RATs like Reid don't like General Elections either, but they have to keep the Kabuki show for now for appearances sake.
Thank goodness the people can elect their senators. Our republic is so much better off. /s
United States presidential election in Montana, 2012: Romney 55.4% 0bama 41.7%
If so, we should pay it back in spades here and pull for Bohlinger.
Unless this is one of those stealthy articles where Reid actually wants Bohlinger....
Harry is one creepy dude. I’ve never understood any voter connecting with the guy?
I thought that said “Boehner”. And I was thinking, it’s about time he changed parties, but why would Reid want him out?

Blackdog, it has nothing to do with the voters. It has everything to do with the vote counters.
You said: The people in the individual states should choose their nominees and then the parties should get behind them.
I say: No, we need to repeal the 17th Amendment and have the State legislatures appoint/elect the Senators as it was intended by the Founding Fathers. Otherwise, what is the point of having the Senate.
The House of Representatives is to represent the people’s interest.
The Senate is to represent the interest of the individual States.
Anyone that would run as a democrat is an immoral goat-humper. I believe he’s just trying to mislead the clueless into voting for him.
The 63rd Legislature (20132014) is controlled by the Republican Party with the House having 61 Republican members and 39 Democratic members, and the Senate having 29 Republican members and 21 Democratic members..
Walsh is going to run as a Republican. That’s how Democrats win in Montana. Look at Tester. He votes liberal and campaigns as a conservative.
The fallacy is that we've all been duped into believing Congress are all 'Federal Employees' when in reality and constitutionally they are all STATE Employees.
Ya!
Let’s GOTV for Bohlinger, in the Primary!
I come, unfortunately, from one of the very blue counties. Never understood the love affair with the democrats.
