This fast food establishment allegedly in Ephrata is looking for new employees, but they have someone specific in mind which is creating quite a stir.
As the sign says:
“Now Hiring Must Be Mexican
I’m not exactly sure of the reasoning. Maybe none of the current staff can speak español or perhaps they need to fulfill their EEO report, I’m not exactly sure. What do you think? Do you find this sign offensive or are you okay with their honesty.

A lot of my co-workers back in 2009 were 2nd gen mexicans. They really don’t know how to speak spanish. One of them told me that his illegal alien grandmother did not want him to speak it for some reason.
I stand corrected, outranked, and outnumbered.
Mexican means not subject to taxes, withholding, minimum wage or Obamacare.
Americans are priced out of the market by the government.
The Roman Empire required citizens to collect taxes. There just were not enough taxes to collect, but as citizens they couldn’t dodge responsibility. Their wives and children were sold into slavery first, then the Roman citizens were sold into slavery.
Or like St Augustine (of Hippo?), sold their citizenship to a foreigner with wealth, that wanted greater social standing.
“Help wanted White men only” LOL would get libs panties in a twist
Most of the mexicans I run in to don’t speak spanish, they speak some weird indian dialect with a tiny vocabulary and no syntax — very much like grunts and gestures actors use when portraying cavemen.
If it said, “Must be white”, every news organization in the world would be running a story on how racist the USA is.

These days you have to fill your minority quota in order to avoid trouble with the racial police of both government and civilian varieties.
“Mexican” = Obamacare exempt ,, doesn’t affect the biz hitting the target number ...

I have no problem with the sign. It is a step in the right direction. Maybe one day there will be help wanted ads for “white, Christian, heterosexual, married male”.
So it’s now legal to have a “white males only need apply for this position” ad?
Oh wait it’s only legal if the ad reads “diversity candidates only women,minorities,immigrants,people of color, and LGBT are encouraged to apply!”
Voted “yes” only because if the sign said “Now Hiring Must be White” all holy hell would break loose, worse than the kerfluffle over Incognito and Deen.
If it’s wrong for any ethnic/religious/race, then it’s wrong for all.
