I suggest that the involved school administrators be made to work in a cancer ward for a week or two.
Then let them come back to the school and apologize in public to the students they showed a great disrespect to.

TruTV really needs a new show, World’s Dumbest Public School Administrators. More than enough material out there to keep Danny Bonaduce, Tonya Harding, Loni Love, etc employed forever.

Yes. That group is what is known as your local School Board. They hire these Admins and approve of their six-figure salaries.
I guess these T-shirts clashed with the, “We are Trayvon” shirts. School administrators have become absolute tools.

Increasingly, the word “school” in the English language denotes an institution wherein children learn what it’s like to be an uneducated jerk.
“After a student died from leukemia, students wore t-shirts honoring the student. The school banned the shirts.”
If the school had a dress code, no problem here; similar accomodations would undoubtedly be made for St. Skittles, and I’d rather not have that at my children’s school. We live in a crumbling society where rules are routinely thrown out the window as part of the “fundamental transformation of America”; if these shirts violated a policy then keep them home, or at events outside of school hours.
