I haven't posted a live thread in years but this is to good not to have one. Fox will have live coverage when it happens.

Sebelius refuses to say how many people who selected plans actually paid.

Meets the "hundreds of thousands" talking-point threshold.

I’ve “selected” my next car, does that count?

I would think that a decision to purchase a new car is more discretionary for most people than a decision to purchase health insurance. Also more fickle and likely to be abandoned.

The statement did not say how many of the 106,185 have confirmed their choice with an insurance company, or paid their first premiums.

I am sure it is much lower. These figures include people who put a plan in their shopping basket, but proceeded no further. The actual number of real enrollees who got thru to the insurance companies hasn't been divulged to my knowledge.

Even the Washington Post is saying these are dismal numbers.

They are the great defenders of all things liberal so this must have been a painful moment for the Washington Post.

I pay $19,500/yr for a family of 4. Almost twice my mortgage payment.

LOL! That pic is a good representation of Obamacare and liberal initiatives in general.

I wonder how many birds the wind turbine killed before it caught fire?

I’ve selected a Audi R8, Corvette, Silverado and Camaro 2SS, never said I would buy (or could afford) them.

Put it this way, if the numbers were any good HHS would be parading them all over the place. Silence speaks loudly.

OOOH, but how long will that last?

A long, long time I'm guessing. The Affordable Healthcare Act is exploding like nothing since the Hindenberg.

It's almost 400,000 and considering every Medicaid cost $1400 per month Obama just added $7 billion a year to our debt.

Where does the $1400 figure come from?

In my state each Medicaid enrollee costs just under $5,000/yr. This is the "premium" that the state (partially with federal money) pays each of two companies who provide the insurance.

But the damage has been done. Most folks who have employeer provided HC have had it decimated or seen thier portion of premiums go up.

It’s $1400 per month or over $16,000 per year.

BTW, ‘Hope and Change’ B. ‘Hitler’ Obama will achieve the break-even goal of 7 million lucky policy holders in just over 261 years.

Yup, Obama can then finally say “I BUILT THAT !”

0 has a better chance of breaking par or getting a hole in one than getting all people on zero care in 261 years.

That's the average expense per covered individual, which may include capitation. I was quoting the premium, which is different.
