Someone just posted this on the articles, worth mentionin,g Obama cannot do this......
1- What Obama is proposing is illegal. It goes against the Affordable care act.
This must go through Congress & senate.
2- What Obama is proposing will be impossible for Health insurance companies to comply with. It takes a min of 3 months to set up Eligibility, benefits and new member ID cards. States regulate insurance programs and need (for the most part) sign off to offer such plans.
3- Plan will not be able to offer and won’t offer people their old plans. This will blow up their risk pools.
This is all an attempt to deflect blame from Obama/Democrats to “evil insurance companies.”
Democrats need to vote for the Upton Bill and codify this into law and not just for 2014.
