A famed man of letters and sexual liaisons who never had a kind word for traditionalism, the late Gore Vidal hobnobbed with the rich and influential and locked horns with William F. Buckley on television. During one of these debates, Vidal called Buckley a “pro-crypto-Nazi,” prompting Buckley to call him a “queer.” Only one of these accusations was true, but both pale in comparison to a charge Vidal’s own relatives are now leveling at the writer.
That, as the Daily Mail puts it, he was a “globe-trotting paedophile who preyed on underage boys.”

He wasn’t a “pedophile”. He was a homosexual practicing typical predatory, pederast behaviour towards young teen boys. Every time a homosexual is caught (whether its a Boy Scout leader or a priest or sport coach), the media tries to shield the dark underside of the homosexual lifestyle by calling the perpetrator a pedophile and claiming it had nothing to do with the guy’s homosexuality. The Catholic Church doesn’t have a pedophile priest problem it has a homosexual priest problem. But the media’s response to the abuse scandals is to call on the Church to permit more homosexuals to become priests.

I've had very strange debates with people about this. You are 100% correct - they claim that pederasty is a particular psychological problem about "physical abuse" and "control" - and that it is typically heterosexual men who do this sort of thing. Their main point is that it has nothing to do with "homosexuality" at all - which is just ridiculous idea.
Well *this* kinda takes on a new twist.
So Vidal was a pedophile, but escaped consequences his entire life, and probably his reputation will only suffer now among people who already disliked him. And Mr. Duke gives a list of other people on the left who likewise were not punished/shunned for being pedophiles? Mr. Duke might as well have said in this article being a conservative is a sucker bet. You can be on the left and escape the consequences of even the most terrible actions. If you are a conservative, you can still be vilified, even if you do something honorable. Depressing.
My surprise meter needle just jumped.....well it didn’t actually move, when I heard this news.
It’s inherent. Homosexual men prey on young boys; lesbian women prey on young girls.
Homosexuals commit most of the serial killings which is mainly due to the fact that after they’ve buggered a younger man or boy they want to destroy what they enjoy.
These sick perverts can parade all they want, they can petition the complicit politicians for special privileges and they can want to marry a person of the same sex, but check on their buggering relationships a year or so down the line.
Oh. And I almost forgot. Gore Vidal was an infamous, flaming homosexual whose appetites ran to young boys.

There is no doubt that being a lib often means never having to say you’re sorry. In fairness, though, most of the libs mentioned in the article are suffering punishment.
I remember from 1968 how Bill Buckley responded to Vidal:
“Listen, you queer. Stop calling me a Nazi or I’ll sock you in your g—d—m nose and you’ll stay plastered!”
The moderator (Dick Cavett?) was appalled, “Gentlemen, gentlemen!”
Anyway, no surprises here. Vidal was a flaming faggie & America hater, and is still dead.
