A railroad rail is very heavy, being made of iron. Being ‘ridden out on a rail’ refers to a fence rail, usually wood. Although in THIS case, and iron rail may be necessary.....................
yeah, at ~100lb/ft it might be too heavy, though they could use Light Rail.
