As far as I’m concerned Boner have 39 democrats cover.
I’m calling “Bull!” on them. They knew the Senate would reject it so they risked nothing by voting for it - it was just a cover of smoke so that they could tell the voters back home that they tried to overthrow it.
Short memory span by lemmings will forget that they probably voted for it in the first place - and vote for them anyway.
“political hell” not seen since the 1968 Chicago Riots ... when 50 million Americans see their employer-based health insurance screwed .... FUBO ....
Bullshift. The Upton bill os a big error. Do nothing. They passed it without Pubbies, now let them try to fix it. I’d be in favor of a sox-month bill.
This is not a repeal. This is not a repeal. We need to push for a repeal...
I wonder how many Dhims are thinking now, “If only we allowed this thing to be delayed in October... “
Piecemeal repeal. The only thing that will save Democrats — except that it won’t, because look when the new round of cancellation notices will hit.
This is not the first step towards repeal, by any means. No way 39 democraps would side with GOP on that, at least not yet. This is their attempt at a “fix”. When the fix fails, that’s when democraps might join in the repeal effort.
We will loose our health care. To be replaced by government health care. Those that fight against Marxism will be denied health care. Doctors who are republicans / conservatives will not be allowed to practice medicine. This is what is coming. If you contribute to conservatives in any meaningful way you must report your contribution and personal info to the government. Make no mistake the information will be reported to the IRS and they in turn will mark your medical file. When you get sick you will be denied proper health care. That is what all the laws against free speech, laws requiring your health records be sent to the government, and finally government health care is all about. IMHO.
Not enough of them. Geez. What is wrong with the dems?
In this case, I have to go with way better late than never. But then again, I am in a stage of my life where I am just getting into the whole turn the other cheek principle and the whole pray for those who persecute principle and other such Biblical principles and others may have simply decided trying to be Job all the time is not worth it. And, sadly, in a few years maybe I will end up there as well.
Republicans should declare themselves Pro-Choice on Socialized Medicine.
Let those who want to take their chances with ObamaDon'tCare take their chances.
Then offer the rest of us Ben Carson style reforms to our medical system.
These are early signs that the country is in the throws of Hopium withdrawal. Soon, there will be convulsions, puking, shivers, sweating, chills, and diarrhea at all levels of gubmint and in the general public.
And it shall be known as ZEROCARE.
“Pro-Choice on Socialized Medicine”
Pro-Choice — because they can’t tell me what to do with my own body, right?
“will forget that they probably voted for it in the first place - and vote for them anyway.”
An ad reminding voters that “they were for it before they were against it” would help;
Indeed.
If you're happy with some bureaucrat telling you what you can do with your body, you can keep ObamaDon'tCare.
If you're happy making decisions about your body, you can sign up for CarsonCare or Medical Savings Accounts or what have you.
Including paying for your own abortions. And no doctors will be penalized for not performing abortions under CarsonCare.
“If you’re happy with some bureaucrat telling you what you can do with your body, you can keep ObamaDon’tCare.”
I think this related point would be an excellent talking point against single payer when / if they try to shove that on us.
Who pays, decides what to pay for ==> what treatments you get or do NOT get. Do you want those decisions made by the people who couldn’t even design a web site??
trying to sell defeat
