An Alabama man lost his fight on Friday to keep his wife buried in the front yard of the home they shared for decades.
The remains of Patsy Davis, who died in 2009, were removed from the unusual grave in Stevenson, Alabama on Friday morning.

I have no problem with “home burial” provided law enforcement and the medical examiner have determined no foul play. Native Americans have burial rights that respect their traditions. Now it would be different if he ran her through a blender and pumped her into an aquifer. That I might take issue with.
Similarly, I was relieved to find that the wife has been dead for several years. That's a lot different from losing a battle to keep the wife buried because she's still alive and keeps digging her way out.

This is the grave in the phrase “cradle to grave”. You can’t lay your loved ones to rest without an EPA person out there with a disposable hazmat suit and clipboard.
Embalm her, cremate her, bury her....take no chances.

I’ve been to Stevenson, AL several times.
I just want to know if she was buried where he could see her grave from the couch on the porch or further over next to where the dog craps.
