I think he was trying to drum up the sympathy quotient. I’m not sold that it was purely racist. It was his comment to make, but we were free to explain what an idiotic comment it was.
For instance, it doesn’t matter who he looks like. He was acting out, exhibiting questionable behavior, and beating a man’s head into the side-walk.
All he had to do, was go home. All he had to do was explain that his dad lived right there, and he was returning after going to 7/11.

My opinion is that this was not coincidental, that it was intended to improve Virginia State's chances of winning the game and going on to the NCAA playoffs.
There should be a forfeit as a result of this. That there is not, is racist, again in my opinion.
What would have happened with a Division I team whose players had ganged up and beaten an opposing quarterback just before the league championship? Not a mere cancellation of the game.
No problem at, it was my pleasure. I am now convinced that, if these players were not black, this could not have happened.

Earlier in this exchange I asked you to link us to reports of widespread multiple White on Black crime. I haven’t seen reports of it. I would also challenge you to come up with reports of Group White on single White crime.
